They do a series of one-offs at the beginning of the season, yeah.
This year was Purple Disco Machine, Solomun, ANOTR and a few others

i would expect both to go to a venue similar to amnesia especially rizardo.
i see he has the potential to fill carolas night in amnesia and build it big.

Heard DC10 was ridiculously busy on NYD from various friends who went - more so than usual for 1st Jan with some saying it was even more rammed than at the Closings with some leaving much earlier than planned as a result. A shame as everyone I spoke with said the music was excellent.
Glad I opted for Ryan O’Gorman’s Vitalik party at Zazu with a host of the island’s best selectors. First time there (not usually a fan of the new Playa D’en Bossa beach venues) but it felt like the real Ibiza with fantastic music, excellent vibe, and an impressive soundsystem. Free entry too.
More events like this in 2026 please, and less greed.

What you heard it's true, DC10 was ridiculously busy, in some ways I found it even more unbearable than in the summer, couldn't hardly move anywhere, the cloackroom was a shamble.
I got there at about 8:30 pm wasted more than an hour trying to get my coat checked in, another half an hour before getting a drink at the bar and I didn't manage to dance at all as impossible to move around and constantly pushed about. I left just before 11:30 pm.
Like you I then decided to go to Zazu and that was a totally different story, stayed until the end, such a good vibe with excellent music.
So refreshing to see people getting lost in the music, the real Ibiza is still around!
Looking forward to discovering more hidden gems in 2026!

DC10 was horribly busy for NYD, music was great but the rooms were so packed, popped in twice and its was quite frankly, unsafe. On the way out to the garden I thought the crowd was going to surge. In this mess, some guy was yelling at me and pushed me in the chest. Not the vibe at all! The irony is, I hadn’t been to DC10 since 2017 as I was boycotting it for pretty much the same reasons. Pure greed and putting people at risk. I’ll swerve in future which is a pity as like I said - great music!

Couldn’t agree more. I’m also hearing it’s a weekday too. Would love to know the full story, but we might never get to know.
How long is it going to be until we see a tragic accident due to overcrowding in these places!
