Yes. The success of Balance Croatia showed that people of all ages love his sound and it works perfectly for Ibiza.

genuinely I believe they do the right thing right now. one annual big happening in september in 528 and a monthly sven session in akasha.
september is when all the regulars come back for the big one and having one per month in akasha is to make sure everyone can see sven during the summer (apart form his other appearances at dc10 etc)

Stivi dropped a well worded endorsement of Tomodachi ..anyone else been yet? I plan to go during the main closing weekend, maybe the 9th after Las dalias ..although chinois looking good that night too .Intrigued.

cocoon have always been pretty clear that they will open up their sonic horizon up to a certain extent, but not more than that.
pyramid have tried many things soundwise and are still doing so. some of it with success, some less sucessful.

for example, cocoon putting up hard techno line ups as pyramid does nowadays simply wouldn't be cocoon in today's day and age, end of the story.

cocoon have realised that if they wanted to keep doing a weekly residency, they would have to open up to sounds and artists that just aren't cocoon, since the artists apart from sven that brough the night the punters (carola, hawtin, luciano, RV etc) have simply mostly started doing their own thing.

in short, cocoon simply realised they would have to change into something they don't want to to keep having a successful weekly residency.

They deffo did change the line ups for their last season in amnesia and im sure i said something about it on here not long ago. The one offs are much better as its proper and they aren’t forcing themselves to be something they’re not

Massive shame how things have fallen (think what Mondays used to be compared to the last few year!) but less is more nowadays it seems

It's an option for me this holiday (most likely Tuesday), but don't really know what to expect. Would be interested to hear more details.

I went to Tomodachi on Tuesday for Voigtmann. It’s a very small club and we arrived at roughly 1:30 and it was already rammed to the rafters, not sure if that was a one off or if that’s how it always is. However the sound is very good indeed and the crowd were great and friendly.

All clubs on Ibiza slowly are winding down and the initial plan was to celebrate the Closing Party of our weekly Ibiza Records 2025 Residency at Es Paradis on Tuesday 30 Sept. However, we are happy that we will now extend for another month - until TUESDAY 28 OCTOBER with the Very Best of Ibiza House & Trance Classics of the late 90's and early 2000's!
So, this Tuesday we will instead celebrate our End of Summer party, and we will continue every TUESDAY (30/9, 7/10,14/10, 21/10 and Closing 28/10).

Funny you should say that: It was my first Music on in the Pacha era this Friday. As I also digged the lineup and had a first-timer on the island. What a fun night that was! Always loved Alicante, to me highly underrated these days. And Troxler and Carola played b2b that night, 3.30 till close, with Seth choosing the better tracks :)
As far as tech house goes excellent party, and showed me once again how I like Pacha as a club. Actual surprise to me was the British turnout for this, I'd say 80 percent UK. Italians preferring Capriati more these days?
 
Dimitri From Paris was on yesterday at Chinois, busy with an older audience. DFP played vocal disco house. Sound system is very good and acoustic on the floor is mega.
Maybe he didnt get the response he wanted so the sound level / dynamic got way up there.

Claptone kept on with an even louder set and I think quite a few left then.
More isnt always better.

It feels pretty busy for this time of year, last few times I've been it hasn't felt quite this busy

Not sure if it's just around San Antonio and maybe because the medieval market etc is on but way more people walking around than the last few times I've been

We missed the balloons 🥲 Music wasn’t for me but it was going down well with the crowd. Really happy atmosphere. Can’t knock it for free. When they played Voyage Voyage I did get a little buzz taking me back to my first choices of LP.

It was surely busy at Las Dalias/Akasha back in early April and that was off season, also pretty busy at 528 in August.
He has his Argentinian strong contingent of followers on the island that would fill a mid size venue.
Definitely not for the UNVRS tyoe of clubber or at least not the kind that this season has attracted there and that is a very good thing in my opinion.
