it was. but you need to see the bigger picture:
- a lot of people that were on the island very, very likely went to amnesia the night before, for eastenderz opening, which I believe was really busy
- just check out who that weds night party at amnesia went up against: jamie jones b2b carola at unvrs, blondish b2b mau p at pacha (mau p another 'hot' new name), dom dolla w skream & dj boring at hi, apollonia at chinois...

I genuinely don't know how busy it was I'm afraid. I have a feeling it also might not have been packed, but I don't have any inside intel on it.

Siii I was there.
Got there at midnight because Patrick Nazemi was playing until 1am. Both rooms were basically empty when we got there. Flitted between both across the next 2 hours until The Streets came on at 2.
I would say that the Terrace was about half full when they started. Was trying to figure out whether Mike was absolutely off his trolley or not (but isn’t he sober?)
but at one point he picked up one of the decks and was hugging it.I really enjoyed the full live band set up, but unfortunately the mic sound was way off. Couldn’t really hear any lyrics, drowned out by the rest of the band.
Anyway, I still really enjoyed it and on one of the last songs he jumped off the stage and wandered through the crowd.
Obviously the competition of Defected, Fisher etc meant that it was quiet, but I had honestly thought there would have been more people.

There is an analysis going round of which artists bought most followers on social media. I find it interesting that some of the worst offenders in this top10 were "rewarded" with a new Ibiza residency: Indira Paganotto (a whopping 65% of followers paid), Mau P, Blondish, Bora Uzer and Hugel.
As a DJ you used to grind and work to become popular and successful in this industry, and THEN get a weekly Ibiza party. These days it seems you start out with an Ibiza residency for marketing purposes and go from there : /
