how's the season going then?


  • mid july and the island is still not overly full for how full it usually is by that time of the year
  • space on the beaches (great)
  • some of the high class restaurants are packed (as in: try to get a booking at jondal, good luck with that), but in lots of other places you can still get tables easily
  • to the clubs: the big ones are mostly busy from what I hear, but with a lot of freebies behind it. if you are a resident and season pass holder, you get into pretty much every club at pretty much every night right now, a few exceptions only.
  • clubs are fighting hard with early entry and late entry tickets, also realising that if you offer tix to popular nights at good prices, people will eye up the possibility of hitting up two clubs rather than just one.
  • very much as expected, UNVRS is truly changing the panorama of clubs here. right now, there aren't enough people on the island to fill all the venues - or should I say who are on the island and willing to pay for a ticket. so apart from the workers passes, I also hear of lots and lots of freebies within the TNL group to make sure UNVRS gets busy. I have friends who were at ushuaïa a few days ago and inside ushuaïa they were offered free entry to UNVRS the same night (and obvs free bus as well). so, resuming - and that isn't just valid for unvrs but allover, if you see busy clubs right now, up to a certain extent that is helped with lots of offers

I love this! A little bit back to how it used to be.

I actually think on Sundays a Glitterbox (Starts at 11pm) > Saga (Bedouin on about 02:30) > Solomun after 4/4:30 is a real candidate...

I have had a gay couple of friends last week , they went twice to es cavallet and they had never seen the beach so calm and also with a very sober clientele and families, but very few gays, few naked people and no orgies in the dunes (well the last one, they are not sure 😅) we are in July and it is the only big gay beach on the island , very strange ,the same for the party, very little on offer

Same. One day more quiet, Sunday PM certainly more crowded. Still relatively calm.

They are proper DJs, they will change their sets based on location, timing, and just mixing it up.

Looking forward to them on 27 Aug in Main Room Amnesia for Resistance. That one should be pretty hard I think.

Torn between that UNVRS night and pyramid! I’m swaying to pyramid because I’ve not yet been and haven’t been amnesia for a few years now either. Still waiting on terrace line up tho. Also glitterbox and edens night look good on the Sunday with Darius syrrosian ffs! And then there’s certain nights I’m not interested in anything 😕 #spreadoutthesundayparties!

How was the party?? So much hard techno on the island this year, just wondering how big the market for it is.....

That system is def mega, the trance sounded lovely on it!!

Yeah pretty good week so will have to pick wisely.. G'box has a cracking line too that Sunday.. DJ Harvey / Gerd Janson, and the Melon Bomb boys, never mind the Theatre.. But l do want to try UNVRS and Sunday is the only night l would attend party / music wise
