ibiza gossip 2025

Heello everyone, I going to be on the island in two weeks. I bought tickets for Flower Power because I was there in 2023 and it was so fun, but I was reading that the music concept has changed...
How huge is the change? there is no music from 60, 70... or It's only reduced or mixed with more electronic sounds? And about the performance? Still there Freddie mercury, Lennon, Abba...?

I do not think that there is much 60s, 70s anymore. I have not been though, so will leave other to comment. I think @TiffyBarrett went recently.

I went last year

I went last year, it's very different to how it used to be

It really depends on the DJ on the night, but expect it to be whatever kind of thing they play (more house/disco themed than anything else)

Nice levels of busy with a great vibe outside but plenty of room to move around at the sides. The main dance-floor was full and the inside club pretty packed from the start. 528 seems to be growing in popularity every week with lots of island faces & DJs (Todd Terry, Smokin’ Jo, Bushwacka were all there as punters). No idiots and next to no filming.

Echo what @TiffyBarrett said and thought it was an excellent night and Pikes have created something very special.

Groove Armada transported me right back to the pre-roof Space Terrace!
This excites me for September 👏👏😁

Sundara promised land, mark knight in September. Anyone been and know what the vibe/crowd is like? I’m assuming decent as it’s fairly unknown to the masses?

It's much more on the house/disco side now, remixes etc. I believe there are still the performances etc, but if you're looking for pure 60s/70s music for the majority of night then Flower Power isn't that anymore.

There's a new night at Akasha on a Monday which does seem to be much more retro. I haven't been yet - not sure if anyone else has?

Everyone I know that has been has said they really like this place. Probably because it's relatively unknown, island kind of vibe.

I went to Sundara on my last visit. Nice club, although not the most packed but it’s a winner in my eyes! Taxis easy to get afterwards too. My only complaint was when it was at its busiest there were only 2 staff members on at the bar so took a while to get served, but on a night where they were expecting more people they might put more staff on.

House . Bora Uzer is sometimes singing and is playing his guitar to house beats. No vintage music anymore. In my opinion : Well done Pacha. The times of hit the road Jack or Aretha Franklin in big clubs are over. Lennon was a good one , but ... No one would Play the Pistols or Gun Club in a Club in Ibiza. Why Lennon ?

Great small club. Sound system is excellent as well

I realize there may not be an equivalent today, but was this the rooftop area at Hi that now has the cabanas?
The roof hasn’t changed that much ,at space it was still fairly chilled with a Dj playing, but was always busier than it is at Hi ,The old terrace referred to was roof free but had to have a roof put on around 2005 ish due to restrictions ..(surprise surprise) That area is unrecognisable from what it was when it was Space .

Yeap, I understood but well… maybe not in the current clubs but it’s the history and origin of the island as we known now. I cannot avoid yo be bit sad with this changes :( Maybe 1 real flower power per month could be good! Thanks all for your answers!
