Pity I will miss Boris by a week but I'd defo trade him for a six hour set by Oakenfold, the Shine opening party and others which I'll be there for. Considering I booked this trip a full year ago I'm a happy little vegemite cobbers.

I’ve never understood the appeal with Oakenfold. I know he was a big name back in the day and before my time, but he’s always been poor when I’ve seen him. Was his mixing bad back in the day or is it just a case of he’s not bothered about it these days and just turns up?

It's nice to see Matthias Tanzmann and Davide Squillace on there - they were such regulars at Circoloco for a long while. Tanzmann in particular is still great.

As one of their friendly critics the last few years, I actually think the line-ups have evolved a bit this year.

Yes, it is tech-house heavy, but Ants is a young crowd and that is the market.

If Defected & MusicOn made love the Ants line-ups would be the off-spring. And actually when you think about it - that nails the market they are targeting.
