Which sadly would likely be the final nail in the coffin for the bars in streets around it.

Hope we are wrong because I like the idea of having a smaller more underground venue in Bossa.

Tricky question, and im aware that this is a long shot, but now when Pacha announced another long season, is it possible that Amnesia and others, like last year will do a big closing party that weekend?

there will be two closing weekends I think

Hm, genuinely intrigued by this. What kind of music and crowd can be expected at this?

Deciding between this and Saturday, May 6th Dixon & Trikk. For me, it would be a no-brainer (Dixon), but as I'm there with the wife... Dixon might be too "chin-strokey" That, plus Friday @ Pacha would fit a little better with the overall trip plan.

Who knows, maybe the wife will like Pacha as much as I do and I can convince her to see Dixon on Saturday anyway…

Last year they announced Solomun dates on 16th June, opening party of course announced earlier

You’d think so wouldn’t you? However that street was busy last year. Not like it was ten years ago but the bar on the left before Octan was particularly lively. That street and the bars on it are important for other reasons so there are a lot of vested interests in keeping it going. All that said, it was proper seedy prior to lockdown. If Es Paradis can keep going for decades with no customers, I suspect Octan can. Or maybe it will become an American Candy store or Gelato parlour .

If Octan / Sankeys is ever managed like a proper nightclub, it has massive potential to do what Akasha and Chinois are doing. The captive audience is enormous.
