My top advise now is ok not to avoid all the ‘big clubs’ completely its totally fair enough if you want to go to one or two during a weeks stay or whatever. But dig deeper and find other stuff going on in ‘smaller’ bars/clubs. For example pikes was the place to be last night for pbr street gang/ maxxi soundsystem. Today its the new bora bora for sven.

Check whats on at underground etc too. You’ll have a much better time!

That's good advise think will find some where else to go on 15 October or not bother at all, yesterday was such a nightmare
 
Black Coffee was indeed dangerously overcrowded. Arrived at 1:10 for Keinemusik and it was already completely rammed. I was wondering how to survive the next hours.
Keinemusik played a great set. I only recognized three tracks from their entire set. Black Coffe played from 3-5:30. His first hour was kind of flat… last hour though was great. But the real fun started with them going b2b2b2b2…the tracks Keinemusik dropped!! Wow!! It started to thin out a bit but still crazy full.
And yeah, people only filming. Every 30sec…
@cunninghamali Did you see the big fight on the middle of the dancefloor? Around 3:30ish…idiots

Omg I was wondering what that was, f***ing dick heads I was scared actually thought it was a fight, I was worried someone wud get knifed,

Some people were filming it and then people started dancing again like nothing never happened

There were a few arguments yesterday as people pushing and shoving... Was scary at times

Pikes?

The crowd at NUI last night was great. Same at the likes of Pikes, Underground, Malanga, etc. Even all the people we spoke to in San Antonio yesterday were sound.

Over packed clubs are never fun.

Pacha was ok. Bedouin, Camelphat and Flower Power was not extremely overcrowded. Camelphat was very full, but you could move.
Chinois ( Frankie Wah ) , was OK , too.
Next year in may it will be no issue.

Club owners / promoters should be fined, then closed down if they persist in overcrowding.

And for all those apologists, it's peak what you expect, ohh they have to make their money blah blah bullshit. If you're breaking the law you should be punished before the inevitable happens.

Don't u you think it will be that bad? I don't know whether to go solomun closing or not now... It was that bad yesterday I could take that again it ruins the night

I'm pretty sure it won't be any busier than the other pacha nights you've attended it the past. of course there might be an hour or two where it gets very busy, but pacha's built in a different way and provides easier options to be a little less congested even at peak hours. plus don't forget the solomun closing usually doesn't stop at 7am (since it's the venues last night) and normally from about 5am onwards it's just 'perfectly busy' in there.

heard the same about the elrow closing, rough crowd and way too busy downstairs.

I was in Hi last night. We stayed the whole night in the club room for Damian Lazarus / Chloe Caillet and Bartolomeo. Chloe caillet was the stand out set. All three were really good and . there was always room to dance, they had that deep bass tech house sound going and it felt a bit like the terrace room DC10 at times. I’m sure keinemusic we’re great but I don’t get any feeling from the theatre room. It’s only my second time in there since space and I think it’s my last. I think Hi is for a different generation, there was a huge mix of people. Tourist , drunken couples kissing on the dance floor and a sea of telephones. Its a commercial thing now. It’s hard to connect after what went before. People I spoke with tonight told me pikes was rocking!! Have a great few days everyone
