heads up for anyone wanting to come down for the last closing weekend.

a look at numbers tells me both music on closing (pacha, fri 13 oct) as well as solomun+1 closing (pacha, sun 15 oct) will sell out in advance. don't sleep on getting tickets for these if you wanna attend.

I'm staying at pacha hotel...hopefully they have the same free entry thing (what with different owners?)...amnesia closing Saturday too so it looks like a biggie

Went to Destino with Carola. Nice crowd but the music was beyond grim. We made the call to leave when Britney Spears - Toxic was played.

Doubly annoying as we left it to the last minute, got convinced to go and got stung for 160 euros in tickets rather than guestlist or at least cheaper tickets.

Will be avoiding Ants then.

Also played Milkshake, as well as various other pop hits.
 
Well after 4 years and a pandemic in between finally coming back to the island! 2 nights at Destino for Solomon Closing 🎉.

Does anyone know if you have to contact the hotel in advance for the free entry or do they just give you a special pass or something when you’re there?

So we stayed at Pacha hotel for Solomun closing last year and for sold out / very busy nights we had to enter very early (by about 0030) to guarantee entry so not especially flexible
 
Villalobos will not perform tomorrow at Pyramid, nor the Pyramid Carry at Cova Santa on Monday

Seth Troxler comes in as replacement to play back-to-back with Luciano. Cuartero has also been added to the Terrace line-up
 
Reading some comments on the Ibiza Reddit thread saying both Ushuaia ( calvin harris ) and hi (black coffee) have been dangerously packed recently. (A) is this confirmed and (b) if this is the case what is it actually going to take before these places stop over selling? It’s an accident waiting to happen.

Am I right in saying pacha have taken at least some action to avoid over crowding?
 
I went to see black coffee at hi a couple years back, it was the most pointless exercise ever, sardine mania is putting it mildly.

Haha I’m a huge fan of the Afro house sound and am yet to see black coffee. However the idea of being rammed in somewhere just doesn’t appeal to me! Reading guetta was also horrific although why anyone would want to put themselves through that is beyond me… each to his own though i guess.
