This is a surprise can't see whod take that risk....Went to their event at Amnesia in September - such poor sales was close to a complete disaster - majority of the promised DJs were cancelled couple days before and club room closed completely and the infamous curtain on the terrace, empty VIP area and thinly attended despite very low prices... Hear alot on here about semi-empty events at Amnesia in 2022 is it struggling? Is it just elrow and some pyramid nights really

I personally think Amnesia was a big step for HE.SHE.THEY to be honest. As people say time and time again success elsewhere is never guaranteed in Ibiza. Friday was also an insanely competitive night last year too. For me, they need a room as part of another night, or a smaller venue to build a following on the island.

Like mr_why says above, purely that Fridays were ultra competitive and having promoters on rotation actually probably did Amnesia a disservice, as there was no continuity. Capriati filled it with his dates, Drumcode was also decent, but the rest found it difficult to get a foothold.
Really Fridays is only day of the week you can say Amnesia had difficulty with. Reggaeton parties did well, Steve Aoki love him or loathe him did really well. Paradise had a superb first season there and Amnesia Presents was one of the surprise packages of the summer. I think most clubs accept filling their venue every night of the week is a tall order, so one iffy session out of 7 is actually a pretty good position to be in

The much anticipated new season officially gets underway at Ushuaïa Ibiza with sets from global tastemaker Eric Prydz, techno titan Paul Kalkbrenner (live), Ellum Audio boss Maceo Plex, Massano, Kevin De Vries and SYREETA.
As night falls, Hï Ibiza will host a series of future-facing B2Bs, including New York's The Martinez Brothers B2B Ibiza mainstay Loco Dice. House kingpin Black Coffee B2B Mochakk and a mystical B2B from Damian Lazarus and Chloé Caillet. Solo sets from Honey Dijon, Chris Stussy and AMÉMÉ complete our cutting-edge program.
The Hï Ibiza Club room will reverberate with the techno sounds of Paco Osuna and Adam Beyer, club-focused cuts from Anfisa Letyago, the hybrid sounds of Patrick Mason and the Ibiza debut of Indira Paganotto. Lastly, The Wild Corner will host underground house and disco from Melon Bomb.

I saw it as reflecting Amnesia under heavy pressure from the high investment matures clubs, hi and ushaia aren't closing rooms, cancelling promised DJs and using curtains at any weekend and with 1 next door competitor closed down (and now like Bora owned by matutes) they should be doing better.
Place has had no structural investment in years apart from the questionable sound system upgrade - production, lighting, bars, toilets, same old. Pacha are stepping up to compete, Dc10 are throwing stuff at the wall, amnesias news is more Kevin and Perry!? People will always go but the signs are concerning
Privilege may have shut, that much is true. But how busy did Privilege get in the last half a decade that ever really pulled people away from Amnesia? Resistance is the only night I can think of.
In terms of competition, Amnesia feels it like everybody else. Aside from the examples you mention, there is simply a lot more choice today then there was five years ago and, as we noticed last summer, tourists being more picky with their nights. If you've got elrow, Paradise and/or Pyramid on your agenda, you're probably not eyeing another night at Amnesia even if you're the biggest fan in the world
They've had to contend with Festicket going under too, plus their well documented trouble with the tax man a few years ago.
I thought the production was fantastic at Amnesia closing in October and while I hear you about bars and other parts of the club, I also don't think that it's got to the stage where they *need* replacing. It's a very popular club - especially with locals. It's also the frequent answer when you ask anybody what their favourite club in Ibiza is.
Kevin & Perry, yeah, it's either amazing or a load of shite depending on your perspective. But that's a single end of summer date where the weekly residency will have otherwise closed. I don't think it's a move we can judge the club on

What time wild corner shut last opening 2022? 8am? 10am? it used to shut 5h00 am along normal parties
Ushuaia lineup not so bad, last time i left ushuaia opening along Paul K set...horrible techno, i ma take a nap along his set ?

Ibiza is a pure disco arms race, production, DJs, parties, reputations; drive revenue and the matutes lot can just keep outspending amnesia to justify often double the entry price and a premium on drinks to enable yet more investment
- for your average punter dunno what the point of amnesia is beyond history and ultimately that didn't work for Ku/priv - we love the place and this forum is super amnesia pro but it's lack of innovation and investment compared to the market is concerning as a blah amnesia isnt healthy - IF matutes go heavy on some sort of club offering at privilege how would amnesia respond on their doorstep
