AFAIK it's usually paul reynolds (all night long as well IIRC)...who genuinely is one of the most decent guys playing that venue. I don't frequent hï, but if I would, it'd be for him.

No idea, but in fairness to Robbie a famous face doing something different can be a distraction. Ed Sheeran's cameo in Game Of Thrones was criticised not for Ed's acting but the audience are like 'ooh look its Ed' and don't concentrate on the material.

Agree. I have seen many a PA go absolutely disastrously, and then sometimes they just work. Damn hard / impossible to predict.

That wasn’t a normal PA tho but him trying to showcase his foray in the dance music scene and I think that was the main issue as people were probably waiting for him to burst into “Angeks” any minute and got disappointed when he didn’t.

Has Hi gotten any better for Afterlife or does it still feel like you’re dancing in a cheesy bottle club with tables looking down on you like plebs?

I know how Hi got voted best club in the world....

They have staff hounding you to scan a QR code and vote for Hi...

Went to Glitterbox just gone and was a very good night. But Hi poor sound system and its busy layout make it more of a glitzy tourist attraction in my opinion. Actually found the Wild corner the best room there and you will find a majority feel the same
