Just last week my friend and I were reminiscing about the oldest still ongoing events and La Troya came to mind for both of us. We couldn't find an exact start year, so is this perception just an illusion since there have been so many venues over the years?

not an illusion at all, la troya has been going for over 20 years now.

remember, it used to be la troya asesina and before that it was called la vaca asesina

That's exactly what we thought. I remember that in 2003 we visited La Troya several times and even then they had organized it for quite a long time.

I kind of disagree. Dont know if they changed anything since 15th of August when we left but I thought all of the quiet beach clubs (all of Bossa and Salinas) were a real mood killer. Not at all how the dayvibe was before. Even Sa Trinxa had their volume turned down to almost nothing (if you went more than 5 meters from it you couldnt hear anything)

I changed my hotel from Playa den bossa to San An for this reason.

Exhale closing was good, I love how they use the main room as the main room, more technoy! Reasonably busy but nowhere near rammed! Lens and shadow and obscure shape were really good, and Liebing in terrace, who played an extra hour…

Ok , I remembered incorrect then. Amnesia closing was later than Pacha in my recall. DC10 the latest.
Was there 5 years ago or so , there was a additional date with M. Schulz at the weekend in October in Pacha.
Last who was open was Underground.
 
In the past, Pacha has continued a weekend programme into winter, as have Octan, Eden and others but really that weekend before ADE kicks off is the last proper hurrah for summer. Anything after that is for residents only

Okay, yes, Halloween is a pretty big affair and getting bigger. So that's an anomaly but it's almost exclusively local DJs playing and not international headliners

Hallowenn was big in Heart. NYE is also big. I think there are some tourists on the island.

Pacha after ADE : Only main room open ?
