yeah it picked up later on. Good crowd in there by 1AM. The earlier part of the day showed signs of promise, but a lot of people who arrived were just happy to sit about instead of dancing. Had they got up and danced, it would've been a lot better

There's still a lot of work to do and getting the workers on board is the key thing. Sankeys opening takeover will be a good barometer of that this coming week

Could the date 27.09 be a special (cocoon) one? since it's a classic closing date and the other party's that day look unlikely for a sven appearance ...
 
I haven’t been a fan of Sven Vath for nearly two and a half decades. I really liked him in the mid to late 90s. But since then I haven’t been able to enjoy his output at all. I know that is blasphemous on this forum.

Well, last night he was bloomin brilliant. A very unexpected powerful set in the garden with all kinds of genres thrown in, but for the last two hours it was very hypnotic, sometimes groovy, sometimes techy, sometimes progressive and sometimes trancey. Absolutely terrific. He won’t be happy with several jumping needles on the vinyl, but I thought he was great.

Ame was great too. What a good night.
 
I had a lot of fun at DC10. Perfect level of busy. That was the best Sven set I've seen in a long time. Some absolutely monsters in there

I think generally him playing less this summer is a good thing, but of course I understand the disappointment if you don't get lucky with your holiday dates

One disappointment was Jimi Jules who started his set far too slow and experimental. I think it would've worked in a different slot or him playing his own headline set in a club, but really felt out of pace after Raxon. I hope he pulled it back later on, but he lost my interest
 
The videos on their stories have really taken a jump up in quality…they are almost broadcast quality..audio decent as well. Do they live stream the nights now or something?

Playing less in Ibiza, that is. I saw his tour calendar, he is playing the most I have seen him in years, now without his residency. What a busy summer!
 
What regular bigger club nights on Ibiza play this summer most likely the uptempo progressive house (like Yotto, Nick Warren, a bit trancey style). I know that trance is dead, but I would like to find a proper substitute for a one club night on mid July

The Renaissance night mentioned above will definitely be like that. I would have said Solomun, but recent reports in here have been variable and I haven't myself been this season yet. There isn't really a full progressive house night as far as I am aware. I would love something like a Dmitry Molosh or Jeremy Olander residency.

Well The Soundgarden has a couple of takeovers of Storytellers - do either of those fall on your dates? And then Ben Bohmer's Portraet, also at Cova Santa, will feature a lot of the Anjunadeep roster

Not season-long residencies unfortunately, but rather mini ones
