Maybe not disco but ADID will defs have an older crowd and its a daytime event with good music:cool:
Bit of a silly question, but will this be a club or restaurant vibe do you think? I assume you're talking about the event at Cova Santa.

We have the kid with us - 14 years old - and wondering if it would be a suitable event for her, and for our friend's kids (17/18).

There's usually a handful of kids at Cova Santa parties, and many of them younger than 14

One report already about the DC10 Opening: https://allmusicspain.com/eventos/lamentable-experiencia-en-dc10-ibiza-x-circoloco/

The Insta Account Circoloco_unethical is going to reach more.

I think even a child can figure out that if you have 3 stages full of people and one suddenly closes, all those people have to be distributed among the other two. If those two rooms are already full before this happens, you are leaving thousands of people (who have paid a fortune to enter) out , which in itself indicates a tremendous lack of organization .

The problem starts when you let people into rooms to the point where those inside can't move , crammed like sardines in a can, literally.

DC10 likely won't be seeing me this year, based on the opening reports, but maybe, just maybe if I go later on in the season when it's less busy...
I'm all about the daytime stuff now, being up raving until past sunrise really messes my bodyclock up these days and I won't want to miss the hotel breakfast!

I picked up some early bird tickets for September (£15 for pre 9pm entry including a drink) and the tickets say 7pm - 6am … so not entirely a daytime event

Actually the easiest way is to have no pre-sell and count everyone that is let inside. Once punters reach a pre-determined, safe number the door is closed and its one out-one in. Just as it is done in every "normal" developed country I know :/

You happy to queue up for 5hrs to get in?

You clearly weren’t queuing to get in last year with no pre-sale! better to just sell the appropriate amount of tickets in the first place!

They can still adopt the same process with pre sale tix. They can sell the correct number of tix to match the capacity; over sell and then adopt a one in one out approach; sell the capacity amount and allow folk to pay to get in upon others leaving; or, sell a limited number of post 3am tickets and allow entry upon folk leaving. It’s really not difficult at all.

The bigger issue is the flow around the venue. It’s not exclusive to DC10. Amnesia and Privilege (to a less extent imo) has the same issue. The other problem for DC10 is closing a stage at 11pm and expecting the two remaining stages to cope with all those people needing to go somewhere.

Toilets and separate entry / exit points are easily resolved. DC10 clearly don’t want the expense this brings though.
