He said he wears it because his first gig was in Rio around carnival time so wore it as part of a costume and it just stuck.

who’s the other genius bookings?apart from the afterlife line ups, there’s nothing special I can think of. The rest of Hi’s line ups are EDM,cheese or that reggeaton crap.black coffee is hit or miss. He’s Overrated if you ask me.

Ushuaia apart from a few cocoon one offs.the rest of the events belong in Vegas. My gran could make a better choice of bookings

I was referring to the 2 elrow at ushuaia dates combined with Brejcha over at Hi. They also have Calvin Harris booked with Guetta, the odyssey thing, cocoon dates. I agree its not genius in terms of content but whatever we think of the music they clearly know what they're doing, reggaeton aside

For me Brejcha is doing alright music, a bit too much progressive maybe. I think he is very much a product of a calculated marketing hype like de witte, fisher or peggy gou. Not saying they are bad djs/producers though

They don’t that’s the thing. The best clubs used to be in Ibiza, that’s no longer the case unfortunately because of the types of nights Hi and others have.you can hardly call guetta and Calvin Harris clubbing. It’s pop music. If it carries on this way, Ibiza could become as bad as Vegas.

Mainly EDM at festivals, more of a blend at clubs. He does have quite a few hits under his name so I'd say 25% of his usual set is made of his own stuff.

If that's the direction they're going, I'm a bit surprised. Sinclar is a bigger draw than Solveig, to begin with, and Solveig already had a residency which did not last much.

I agree with you! It's not my thing at all but they seem to be doing quite well are they not? We've all got our own perfect ideas of Ibiza musically but they've got to cater for everyone and unfortunately that includes screaming girls

I agree they make a nice profit. To me I don’t think they should cater for everyone mate. Space never,berghain doesn’t, no fabric or dc10 to name a few. I know they are not the only ones who put on a load of shit nights. Amnesia, privledge do it to but these guys are the worst.

They put their greed over the love of music. That’s my opinion anyway for what it’s worth?
