Yeah that’s true. Even had one in Newcastle on the bank holiday Sunday last month.
Was outdoor in Times Square, and true to form it was belting down with rain.

I went to the Cardiff one last year, the music was great, but the organisation was a shower of shite. I have heard good stuff about the London ones though.
Little story for you- day 1 of London last year, the council said at midday that they couldn’t use their confetti in the Olympic Park as it wasn’t biodegradable. Cue mad running around London for eco friendly confetti

I'd be curious to hear where that story originated from, cos I'm calling B.S. knowing how licensing works and knowing that LWE - the operators - are probably amongst the most environmentally conscious people you will ever meet. Not to mention thorough.

Direct from someone involved with Elrow UK, not LWE. Didn’t even know LWE were involved with Elrow, thought they were too focused on Tobacco Dock

Just had a google and LWE were the promotors, but Elrow in charge of production. Many fingers in many pies!
Fair enough. That isn't strictly true, as the production was a collaborative effort. But if there's truth to the story, then LWE would certainly know where to go last minute to get bio-degradeable consumables, as they've been using Starlight Boutique, who specialise in that field for years.

If you do a little search on Elrow Newcastle, the outdoor event two weeks ago, you can see complaints everywhere on social media. I guess Elrow will never use those promoters again. Not worthy of the brand Elrow.
I believe the ElrowTown events are more hans-on collaborations between the spanish teams and local organisation.
Amsterdam had a similar issue as London this weekend. I just read in a dutch newspaper the dutch promotors had to buy a plastic recycle machine the very last minute because of issues with the council about the inflatables. Confetti was already eco-friendly.
And a little off topic, but for those that wanna know: ElrowTown Amsterdam was amazing. Bit too crowded, but a great daytime party.

Had the pleasure of seeing him at cafe mambo tonight. He had a guy helping him the whole set and he still f***ed up so many times
It was so bad that it was hilarious. Then he jumped on top of his g wagon after and was chanting and getting everyone to cheer for him. How he got a residency at amnesia I do not know.
