Is the days of people doing DC10 -> Amnesia combo dead now that DC stays open til 6am?

It used to be Space terrace -> Bora Bora -> back into Space -> over to DC10 -> Cocoon.. now that was a mission, but plenty of people did it including myself, was something truly unique to Ibiza about leaving Space in the morning and heading to DC10 8am on a Monday morning, I remember thinking what people were up to at home and if they could see me now haha, just glad camera phones weren't around back then :D

I say this every year when people say weak line up blah blah.... it wasn’t that long ago at Circo Loco you generally had no idea who was playing and only really found out when you got there... when the focus was on music and some of the big DJs being able to open up a bit.

Go for the experience and hear something new rather than the same old ‘headliners’

Indeed.

You’ll never find the next big thing you’re into unless you don’t expose yourself to new or new to you talent.

Often is the case that the lesser known DJ’s play a better set as they sometimes feel the need to prove themselves, where as the big hitters think it’s an easy gig and play well below par.

Agreed. Ever year I hear someone that blows me away, even if I know of them might not have seen them.

Jackmaster last year, D’Julz the year before, Nina Kraviz played an amazing house set 3 years ago, Ben UFO a few years back, Margret Dygas in recent years... probably wouldn’t have paid to see any of them individually and had no expectation but all examples that delivered.

Compare that to sets from Seth, Martinez Bros and other overhyped headliners I know what sets id hear again !

The only set i wouldn’t want to hear for that Circoloco lineup next week is Martinez Bro...im no fan of Loco dice but i think his sound would work well at dc10 and the rest of the line up is genuinly good
 
And just for the record i did say a couple of weeks ago i wasn’t impressed with a Circoloco line up (simply because it looked alot like Paradise and thats really not for me) - a one off

But it’s the same names on here complaining allllllll the time

DC10 is such a perfect after hours spot. Shame the island gov has a stick up their ass.
 
Not going to quote anyone particular because its a more general comment but I wouldn't call stating an opinion complaining... it's a discussion. Just like nobody needs complaining nobody needs to be lectured about going to check unknown names or whatever your individual thoughts on it are. It's equally as exhausting listening to people talk about what you 'should' be doing or how to base your selection of night just as it is exhausting listening to complaints.
