Yeah I saw that - looks like a midday finish for Black Coffee opening.
Mind you, I went to the Hi Opening last year and around 11:30AM it was pretty much dead. Couldn't have been more than 100-200 people in the terrace (I mean club room
) listening to Apollonia. I couldn't say the same for any late finishes at Space, it was always in full flow around that time.

its not only pyramid.
all parties this year are lacking proper line ups through out the season.
look back at cocoon music on & enter during 2012.2013.2014. maybe 2015.
this year i see a mix between house / techno / + other music djs at all parties.
maybe the promoters are trying something different, but theres a change in the proper techno scene for sure.

Saw Underworld for the first time maybe 5 - 10 years ago and they were amazing. I'd happily go and see them again.
They do have other songs, you know. Born Slippy is actually far from my fave. i think I used it for a loo break IIRC.

I've invested hundreds (maybe thousands?) in UW music and gigs over the years. Shameless fanboy from 92 onwards. Fantastic memories. It was a time and place. I have no problem with anyone else enjoying it. It's not like I'm stood outside the venue with a machete...

Has dance music (or music in general) really evolved much since Underworld? Are there younger bands/artists that do it better? If so, I'm struggling to think of many. That's why people will still pay to see them.
Just curious, who do you think these parties should have booked for a “proper” lineup?

why in late august will i be going to cocoon knowing that peggy gou is playing before sven?
anyways, similar to the change in closing times which affected the scene & the way i party atleast, the selections of djs for partying changed, and this was clear a bit from last year but this year its so obvious.
and its okay because this is how it is.
& am sure that the sound of cocoon will be different in pacha than @ amnesia,
so its not only the djs & the timings.
the new cocoon will be completely different than the cocoon am used to.
but its something well have to live with.
before, ibiza trip planning was based on cocoon dates now it will be more towards afterlife.

Other than Troxler & Richards - who do 1 x Cocoon Ibiza appearance a summer (and with Ricardo!) - those other acts haven't played for Cocoon for how many years? Have the FUSE guys appeared for them at all?? I think that is a very bad example. Plus, it's a festival, not a club show.
Loads of Cocoon regulars I have spoken to are buzzin' about Peggy's extended set she's gonna get at Pacha. Bravo for the (by Ibiza standards) forward-thinking booking. Had they booked one of the old guard, people would accuse them of stagnating. You're in the minority with this one.
