Strong lineup from Ibiza Rocks this year. Craig David, Rudimental and MK are all household names in the commerical radio world and will shift tickets.

Its interesting how the venue has transformed from Indie Rock night gigs to daytime commerical dance/r&b pool partys in just a few years. But if that's what sells that's what sells.

exactly plus less issues with the neighbours by doing 2pm-9pm instead of 7pm-midnight.

MK has been banging them out for years! "17" was probably his biggest UK with since 'Jungle'.... so probably a perfect mix with the UK crowd at Ibiza Rocks
 
obviously the music's utter shit and the vibe even worse, but I guess I have a smidgeon of respect for these old carthorses who reinvent themselves for younger audiences. someone like craig david for instance was naff beyond belief so to come back as an Ibiza superstar is pretty impressive. God knows how he did it, but his PR team deserve medals.

Agree. I mean Craig David was a joke for me, my younger cousins think he is as cool as! Amazing.
 
the power of having a good agent is everything now. who can orchestrate the best hype, who can spread the word most effectively, and above all who can get the girls in. any clown can get a gig now, provided they have the right connections. talent is an optional extra.
 
Diynamic showcase at Amnesia for Pyramid Mondays.... methinks this may be a sign of things to come, but that's for the 2019 gossip thread ;)

Either way what a great party this will be. I miss it by one week annoyingly :(

Can be an option this monday july 23th at amnesia unless there are djs(im quiet bored with the ones that often mix at circocolo , i'm expecting House Djs otherwise ,not with me that night) i'm very willing to see at Dc10 but on the other side, friends working for pyramid my choice should be Pyramid at 90% unless lineup sucks :D, €(50? 20€ GL or Free GL) side has his weigh on decision too :spank:, its just a balance of lot of parameters :cool:

Does Ibiza Rocks not have any evening events now that go on til midnight?

If none of the acts at the events even have a guitar these days maybe they should change their name from Ibiza 'Rocks'

I heard that they were changing it to "Ibiza Pops". Maybe just another rumour though ;)
