ok guys let me be very clear that for now this is only an assumption / not confirmed / don't take as gospel until we actually get the confirmations in (that's why I'm putting it in the gossip thread in the end), but...

...I think the big closing weekend 2016 might be the second weekend of october and not the first one.

I was guessing along those lines too! Wonder what Space have lined up? I'm guessing a whole week of parties?
 
Stivi when are Amnesia likely to confirm the opening party date? I'm assuming this year it will fall on the same weekend as space - so Saturday 28th May...

I think some time in jan or feb. but seeing cocoon having just confirmed their opening party date for 30th may, amnesia will very likely open on 28th as you assume.

Will be disappointed if thats the case as Ive already booked the 1st to the 8th, im sure the last flight out of Scotland is that also but maybe wrong.....:(

What's your wager on closing date for them, Stivi? If history is a guide it would be Sep 26, but if the big closings get moved back a week as you speculate, that would allow Cocoon to go through Oct 3. And there was that episode a few years ago when they declared one closing date and then added an extra date to push things back a week later. Too dangerous to make travel plans now, methinks.

And bigger picture...what needs to happen / what shoes need to drop for actual date to be settled for the big closings? What venue or group would be driving this change in the first place?
 
I know a few things and some of them aren't confirmed yet. so for now I really prefer not to say anything - sorry guys. we'll have to see how things pan out...

Looks like I may have booked a little early...... extended holiday it is then!
 
Passion ran by JFK has expressed some interest in a passion night in September.

Obviously this will be either a night or a stage around the island of trance week/captured festival.
 
Would be great to see the Privilege main room busy again for a weekly or every 2 weeks party other than supermartxe. What do you think would work?
