From memory when does Solomun usually announce his +1s? Is it late late April?
 
in terms of insane line ups, this is what's clear until now:

- vagabundos takeover dates have been announced a while ago.

- then MK will be back, for now 3 dates are confirmed as an area10 takeover: 27th may, 23rd and 30th september. I think it'll stay with those dates, because from june until 20th september I think he's exclusive to together at amnesia. so pacha got him for one date before together's opening and two after together's closing

- more involved artists/labels to follow soon... ;)

Is it me or are the random MK dates pretty damn weird? Looks quite weak / desperate on Pacha's part. Amnesia landed him and they get some scraps at the beginning and end of the season.

Surely the type of crowd that MK pulls is more likely to be in Ibiza in July & August I.e. Young Brits.

that's one way to look at it. the other way is seeing that on the dates pacha got him, he has little competition and will thus do well.

Yes there was some good line ups but some seemed unlike cocoon to me. For me some line ups were more for pleasing the crowds with the same names as every other night....hope this season they have line ups that go in a different direction

Very True! I never went to one of the Area 10 takeovers last year, but to be fair he had some good DJs there. Nick Curly, andhim etc. Much more towards the less commercial side of things than him.

Is Dennis Ferrer back at insane this year? I believe he's doing space Sundays but not sure about pacha on Fridays (the non vagabundos ones)...
 
Sasha played with Digweed just last night after who knows how long. Call me a bit old school but a Sasha and Digweed residency for Space's last year would be cool. Would be nice l to see it on Thursdays, replacing Enter.
