I was talking to a bar owner out there who was telling me you have to buy the approved sound limiter from the council at a cost of €4000 - which is a huge mark up on the actual cost but still...

Now 2 years after the original one was put in the council have asked for another €4000 for the new approved model. To limit the sound to the same db as already set.

It's almost like the authorities want these local businesses to disappear !

I love that one of the reasons for the revoked license was that the 'new' positioning of the stage was blocking a fire exit. Pretty sure that stage was moved 2 (or possibly 3?) years ago!

surprise surprise... the old coastline cafe in caló des moro has been taken over by the people behind cotton beach club (cala tarida) and cotton lounge club (figueretas), who will reopen it as cotton fitness club

btw, next year they're also opening a cotton hotel...
