Ibiza - and the beat goes on (film)

Sounds good - nice to see people focusing on the "other" stuff that has drawn people to Ibiza for decades...

It looks great!

I'd love to see a good clubbing docco on Ibiza tbh taking in the history from the 60s onwards (with main focus on 88-09) - there's plenty of footage knocking around and it would be lovely if someone did something with all the archives!

Rapture did one which was OK-ish.
Still haven't seen 'a short film about chilling'.

Ibiza uncovered was tosh, MTV have done the odd feature and there are a few crappy DVDs available on the island but beyond that nothing.

It's such a waste!

(don't even get me started on Kevin and Perry and that other one.)

 Too true, it is a huge waste.

Have you read The White Island by Stephen Armstrong, interesting history of Ibiza from Phoenician days onwards, including spiritual beliefs, clubs, music etc ?

was just at IMS to hear john niven talk about his book "kill your friends".

funniest 30 minutes i've had in a long time, hilarious banter/piss take on the music business.

Yes sounds great. Really looking forward to watching it.

I see Lenny is featured in the movie...

He did a chill out DVD and CD on Ibiza called Visions of Ibiza in two Volumes. Wasn't too bad. Released thru D-ROM productions.
