totally agree ....me and the wife have seen kravitz a few times now .....dfifferent class seeing this guy live..... im going both the monday and tuesday.... all the acts are not my cup of tea but i reckon being part of it alone will be rare fun 8)

It would be safe to assume that a few days prior to the event they will have published set times.

I am intrigued by this festival. I've never seen elton john or lenny kravitz live let alone the combination of both doing something in tandem with electronic dance music.

If my geography serves me correct, judging by the positioning of the stage, the sun will set perfectly in line with the stage.

Rumour also has it that a special song is being prepared by Elton John for the event.

More details have been made available regarding this musical attraction of the year.
The organizers have agreed to employ people who are out of work for the three days
of the festival, to act as parking attendants and to help to keep the precinct clean and tidy.
The Town Hall will have two stands, one explaining the tourist attractions of the town
while the other will collect donations for worthy causes, such as the Red Cross,
the Contra Cancer Association and other organisations linked to people with various forms
of disabilities. A hippy market will be running while the concerts are in progress.
A first aid centre will be set up and an ambulance will be in attendance at all times,
while showers will be installed to counteract the intense heat at the beginning of July.
A map will be produced detailing where the audience may park their vehicles and
how to get to Ses Variades, and fifty rubbish containers will be placed at strategic points.

However, one point of concern for critics is the fact that
several of the slow-growing savina pine trees have been up-rooted
to make way for the concert venue; with detractors asking
what will remain once the three days are over?

Ibiza San Antonio City Council and Live Nation, promoter of Ibiza Festival 123, have agreed,
at the request of the Consistory, to apply a special rate for residents of Ibiza and
Formentera for the purchase of tickets for concerts to be held on days 1, 2 and 3 July
in Variades countries with Sting, Elton John and Lenny Kravitz, respectively.

Tickets can be purchased at a booth to be installed at the festival and which will have
to show your ID at the address appearing on the island or residence certificate
and identity card. All documents must be in force.
With each documentation proving residency in Ibiza or Formentera may purchase two tickets
to the 20 percent discount.

With this measure, the Consistory and Live Nation want the residents' can enjoy
the performances that coincide with the sunset.

to "position itself as a quality tourist destination."

I can't wat to get down to this one. Think the guys behind it all have done as well as they could to keep everyone happy in one way or the other.

Psyched to be able to look left and watch the Euro final, then look right and check out Sting with the sunset behind... then off to We Love after perhaps?

Here's hoping this is the first of many!
