I want stars!!!

Is it only the moderators that get stars? Is it possible for us to see our post count next to our names like on other forums and can we have a ranking system for the more posts you make????
 
I take it your pretty new to the board?

We used to have all that back in the old days - when the summers were hotter and the winters were colder....... not anymore ;)
 
I want stars back too!!! I was on the verge of being acknowledged as a senior guru...a prestigious event my family and I have looked forward to for years!
 
Gosh that's true - the gormless buggers - how hard is it to take an order, really? No offence to anyone working there though, I wouldn't want to be kicked off the forum for being a McDonalds-ist :lol:
 
I fail to see how post counts would put people off coming on here.I actually think that having post counts would make people post more because some people are quite proud of them.
 
I think they were taken off (along with other changes) so that newcomers wouldn't feel subconsciously inferior to those who have been on the board for years and years

Kind of make the place more accessible and fear free.......

I'm not defending the decision as it had nothing to do with me

I guess as we move towards the Summer months time will tell......

Because people then post only for the sake of increasing there post count and the board is filled with innane drivel. I imagine you'd be a prime candidate for such abuse.

Perhaps it's a good thing then that they've got rid of the stars, but stars/ranks are only a bit of fun - I certainly wouldn't be put off if I was new (which I sort of am) it would give me something to aim for - see how many stars I could get before I go to Ibiza!!!

No thanks i already know them, like i know expressing an opinion is not aggression. Please learn to differentiate between the two Knifey_spoony. I'll help you pick those toys up too if you want, looks like you've thrown a few out around your pram there...
