How's the weather looking??

Wow really does look bad dont it.... typical i fly over monday for long hard earned break and its going to f*** it down all week.....

This could only happen to me.... really has put me on a downer before holiday has begun....

Forecast starting to look a bit better now. Saying tuesday evening to wednesday afternoon will probably be rain but jua the odd shower here and there after that..

That i can definetly live with... roll on 6am monday morning :) Back on the white isle after 4 long years :lol:
 
Leave in 6 hours and the iPhone weather screen for our 5 day stay looks pretty depressing! Hoping its just brief isolated showers!

Had the shiitest run of luck with festivals and rain this summer - all of which have been in the UK tho so you kinda expect it! C'mon Ibiza - give us a break!
 
Malaga's the place to be this week it seems - just about the whole of the rest of the Med is on-off rain ! Well, either that or head to the Red Sea :spank:.
 
Im just hoping that the forecasts are like a lot of the forecasts they make...... totally the opposite lol
 
English weather looks pretty great all this week and even managed a crafty sunbathe yesterday afternoon :eek: .... sheltered from the wind of course ! Few degrees cooler than ideal but sun's definitely out. For once, I'm happy to "stay put" :cool:. Daily biking definitely on the cards - make up for some of the wasted days of a cr@ppy Summer !
 
weather update - latest forecast says worst day will be wednesday. it might start to rain tomorrow afternoon / evening and it'll then certainly rain on wednesday.
 
I went to Barcelona for a week in august and all the weather reports were saying heavy showers, cloudy with some sunshine so I was panicking. First night we was there it was cloudy but 30 degrees heat. Proper muggy, it then rained, after that it was sunny all week, in the 30's. I wouldn't go too much on the weather forecasts if I was you.

I live here so I do check the weather forecasts maybe more than any tourist ;)

I'm not disputing you. I'm just saying I wouldn't go on weather forecasts in general, most of them are not accurate, especially how the weather is at the moment with the jetstream etc. I live in England, it's says it's gonna be warm tomorrow but I wouldn't take thier word for it.

P.s I never read your post above, so wasn't disputing you ok.
 
aye ok. I'm just trying to keep people here updated on what they should expect. I also agree that they're not always accurate, but they'll still give you an idea of what to expect with a pretty high probability.

I've just come back from ibiza and before I went I was reading loads of different weather forecast sites, I normally go with what the majority tell me, most was saying cloudy/ sunny about 26/27. It was slightly cloudy last Wednesday but was hot all week.
 
right so in the end the day with most rain was yesterday tuesday when it poured down a lot in the afternoon and evening. today was sunnier again and only a few short showers. forecasts say pretty sunny tomorrow, a few last showers maybe (thur or fri) and then from the weekend onwards a more stable phase again - sunny and noteably warmer again. for the last closing parties the weather should be great again and hopefully afterwards too as I'll finally have more time to go to the beach and generally spend lots and lots of time outdoors! :)

Thanks for this update, if you could keep updating every few days it would be really good as im out there on the 14th and its better to have a real life 'on the ground' update than checking out various weather websites which tend to vary a lot.:(
