I used to be like your girlfriends in that respect. Most of my previous bfs were/are the same height or slightly shorter than I, so me wearing heels used to tip the balance.

Not anymore though. Since -97 I've been going out (since -98 living with) the apparent man of my life who is 153 cm (5'1" I think). He's a head and a half shorter than me so heels or no heels makes no difference. Except no heels is more comfortable to my feet. It must be love :D

Also being very tall myself, I don't see tall as desirable as most people. Short people don't have to squeeze themselves between rows of aeroplane seats that are way too close to each other just to get to Ibiza.

Amen to that ;) I've been travelling for the last week with a guy who's 6'4, so I snoozed away, my little legs with loads of room while he couldn't sleep a wink hahaha :lol:
 
I find it quite strange that all my tall friends assume I hate being short..? Wierd western cultural thing.. at one point they showed that the shorter candidate in the US Presidential elections had never won a debate or something silly.

Truth is I really like the height I am, which makes it fine for me to date taller women as I'm not intimidated by them (quite the contrary;) )
 
I am 5'4". I was the shortest guy in Kindergarten, 6th grade and at the end of my A-Levels. Yup, that was in Pakistan where the folks are not as tall as in the US. I was the shortest guy in my department at university also.
 
I was the tallest and biggest built lad in my year at school until I turned 14- I haven't grown at all since then except for going from a 28" waist to a 30"
 
When I was at school I used to be in the basketball team, funnyly, I used to be the pivot girl, I was one of the tallest girls not only in the team but in my class, that was the tallest time of my life because I must stopped growing up because I just 5,00 feet ( 155,5 cm). :lol: :lol:
