I'm 180 cm (5'11" or something) and might like to be an inch or two shorter. Jeans come in various leg lengths so they're not a problem, but no matter what fashion "dictates", most tops that I try on are midriff bearing, or almost. In the winter I have to find some extra long mitts so my wrists won't freeze. Plus my hands and feet are are always freezing at temperatures of 25 C or less cos they're so far removed from my body

5 ft 6 is taller than average in the UK. The average UK height for women is 5 ft 4!

I suffer from "Monkey Arm Syndrome" My arms seem very long for my body - my granny used to have to knit an extra inch or so on my jumpers / cardigans when I was ickle as normal kid sized knitting patterns wouldnt fit me..... apparently if you measure from tip of left index finger to tip of right index finger with arms outstretched that will be your exact height!!
