I stayed there last year. There's a really small parking lot in front of the hotel, other than that it seemed like street parking was the only option. I didn't rent a car tho, maybe they have another lot?
At that stage we just willing to roll with it but totally deflated us tbh we were gonna head out soon as got here but the lasses just couldn’t be arsed and said let’s call it a day and have some drinks on the balcony and try again tomorrow. Leeds airport was a piss take then the hotel muck up was the very worst start to our annual trip but we ready to tackle tomorrow brand new with a fresh set of eyes
That's crap!Can’t comment how it was but how it’s been so far is nothing short of a nightmare.. turned up at our hotel (the old don pepe) San an. Over booked 3 hours later still no further forward than a head scratch and apologies, finally after a bit of whinging and patience they found us a room at Piscis
Sorry to hear that mate. At the level Tui should be operating at that is unacceptable, seems like every side of the sector is balls’in up atmThat's crap!
My parents had a nightmare with holiday from tui. Booked in store. The app showed flights and hotel. They booked seats and extra leg room.
Turn up at airport, nothing on tui system at all, even though showed staff tui app showing booking. Ditto for return, almost didn't get flight back as was full.
My only thoughts is the tui website/hols is separate system from tui flights and some back end mess up didn't transfer the booking properly.
Not exactly a stress free experience for first holiday in 3 years
Also the security/check in system went down so massive queues (Doncaster airport). Lucky not many flights at time so managed just to get through.

Buddha is defo open. There is still some building work done but looks like the maids are visiting rooms from my balcony at gran sol. I'll have a mosey over and have a look see if there are tourists round the pool and report back!
So, there were some people around the pool with the blue blau Park towels and there were several balcony with towels hanging over the rails etc. Couple of balcony did have workmen on them. Conclusion to me is that it's at least partly open with some works still ongoing.
yeah, it's a nice one. i rate it. can't go wrong with the location. also, after several duds in a row, i had a decent pizza downstairs in Ciao Ciao
