mon 22nd- arrived late after being delayed for 4 hours, all 8 of us just dumped bags/ showered, changed etc went out down the west end, first night all pumped up for it so majority of us got plastered. This unfortunately led the group to be seperated leaving me with just one friend walking home. Stupid as we are and not knowing anything about the west end we walked back thinking we would be safe,just about five minutes from hotel we got attacked by a group of spanish lads about 8 of them. i got threatened with a knife and told to hand over my wallet before being hit across the face with something- dont know what but it gave me two black eyes, leaving me on the floor few of them held me down while one grabbed my wallet with around 50-60 euros, my bank cards etc in it.
Hope this hasnt happened to any of you

we were affected by crime on our first night last year. Dont let the idiot minority spoil it for you. At least they didn't get too much money! 
Never really had any trouble in Ibiza. One year, these guys going around in one of the ambulance cars spat on me and my mate. All we were doing was chilling by the ebach having a beer. Obviously they associated us with the Brits abroad w##kers that normally cause hassle. Treat the West End in Ibiza like you would any dodgy city centre in UK. It's not going to be safe really!
Anyway, my advice would be to stay away from West End full stop, get yourself over to Ibiza Town and realise what Ibiza is 'really' about!

i stayed at the club paraiso happened a few streets up from the west end. didn't report it to the police rep told me there wasn't much point as i had no description. rest of the holiday was amazing especially manumission- what a show and the most amazing club in the world!

I heard many stories of muggings, groping, etc, 
seemingly executed by the "natives" upon the visiting "foreigners".
All I can say is don't mosey around on your jack jones, because it seems the solo's are the easiest targets for them.

But muggings, groping, etc, are pre-mediated by those who execute them & is unexcusable, but I didn't point the finger at any one country/creed/breed/race :x As I am fully aware that it does happen in other countries, e.g. in the UK immigrants seem to be an easy prey for gangs of "youths".
Sadly this year has been really big for muggings by groups of spanish guys, i was working out there for 3 months and there were 4-5 reports of muggings a week in same area by group of spanish guys , in the end we had enuff so a few of us workers just took sum poles n things n went lookin, found em sure enuff in same spot ran at em n they legged it, musta scared um cause i neva heard of a mugging afta that.
