Hooligans in Germany

Pretty much says it all about Spurs fans doesn't it everyone!

Someone I know was actually one of the "top boys" in the ICF back n the eighties. He said whilst he regrets some of the things he done now he would not change it for the world. The buzz they get from fighting is pretty much like the buzz some of us get from clubbing.

He also said that it's grown men fighting against eachother, its never hooligans against innocents. They actually WANT to fight, they get off on it. Back in the day it used to only be about fist on fist aswell, never knives or tools used, I guess that's changed now.

Not that I condone it at all, I think grown men chasing after eachother is pathetic, surely there's a better way to represent your country? It's no wonder the rest of the world generally thinks that English people are rude and ignorant t.wats when we have people like this representing us!

Who would have thought it, Beckiboo being an authority on Hooligans?

Full of surprises this board 8)

Very very true Becki. I really am interested in it and when I'm bored surfing I often end up looking at some sort of hooligan related stuff. It's nearly always hooligans fighting one another, and stupid as it sounds, they uphold morals more than anyone in the street. i. e. Queensbury rules. It's obviously changing now with these youth firms such as the Hudds ones on T. V. last night ( who cracked me up jumping around not actually doing ANYTHING ) who just want to make a name for themselves so they can brag on their stupid message boards. I think it's pathetic too but evidently some people just like fighting, and if they fight with other likeminded people I think it's okay, as long as it never goes too far and I've never heard of any deaths. Love to see half of these skinny 3ft mockneys ( ) do what they do by themselves in the streets without their little pals with them tho.

Sorry, but that is the biggest load of TOSH I've ever read!

Yeah, and the Mafia only stole from their own etc!

Whatever you want to tell yourself though!

And the Queensbury rules isn't tosh either. Granted more with the old guard than new kids but still very evident.

Which part? Find me one article of hooligans attacking fans please.

So it's ok for hooligans to beat the sh1t out of anyone going to watch a football game, is it?

"Well, I suppose it's their fault, being fans of other teams, eh?"

Do you know what the Queensbury rules are?!

If so, why the hell do you think they apply to football hooligans?!

What are you cross about today Dan?

I'm not cross, petal!

Just havign a chat with Super Pillock here's (;) ) about his romantic views of football hooligans!

Come on, we've met now, can't you stop trying to make me out to be a nasty, angry person?!

MARKB: There's a lot I don't let on on this board ;) I've got my kosh under my desk ready for a the next away game

Dan: Real hooligans never picked on anyone that didn't want it. The top dogs of each gang would talk via telephone and actually arrange the time and place of the next fight. They'd then meet in a neutral ground somewhere near the stadium where it would all kick off. The idiots you see hitting fans un-provoked aren't real hooligans, they're just mindless thugs.

Oh, and for the record, Jon's grandad owned a pub on Cable St where the Krays used to drink and another of our friend's dad was named in the Krays book and film. HA!

Calm yourself Daniel, we're all friends. What I saying is, to my knowledge, which has some basis, it's not just sweeping statements, football hooligans would NOT just attack innocent football fans. What I was saying in the previous message was have you any basis to challenge this statement.

I think you've (both) been watching ID a few too many times.

Nevertheless you have your opinion and I have mine. Whilst I may concede that a "Professional" football thug may have liked to act in the manner you describe, it would be migh on impossible to not take any innocent casualties.

Much like GWB is only going for "Military targets" eh? (where did that come from?!)

I suppose all those at Heisel were asking for it?

Though then I suppose ultimately you're saying that a hooligan is amateur by definition if he causes a ruck with innocents/in public places. Which may be an agreeable point, though the "pro" ones would be a minority, and would only cause the "amateur" hoolies to do what they do.

Anyway, let's leave it here.

Oh, and I wouldn't go round getting lairy with yoru kosh madam, you've never seen my mates with the hockey stick...;)

Phil's grandad ran a speakeasy for a Mr Capone in the States...... is that better than knowing a Beatle???:? :?

Never seen I. D. actually :p, think most media depicting hooliganism is ****e. Have seen Green Street which was shocking and Football Factory which I thought was brilliant. I'm talking about hooligans, actual hooligans, not little nonces wandering around saying they're "Millwall" and expecting a reaction. Think we're on different wavelengths here, don't any of what I have said was tosh nor do I find being called Super Pillock, however witty and original it was, endearing. Also, not sure what your Heisel point was there but like you said we shall leave it my friend.
