Groove Armada on the terrace

thats the only sunday i'm in ibiza, and that line-up is so poor I don't think i'll bother going.. :cry: :cry: :cry:

can't believe it's felix da house cat and jeff mills the week before and tengalia the week after, and we get stuck with the guy from the Loreal advert.

very poor.

Apart from Groove Armada I think the rest of the line-up is blinding, isn't it Blackstrobe and Miss Kitten inside as well??

Apart from Groove Armada I think the rest of the line-up is blinding, isn't it Blackstrobe and Miss Kitten inside as well??

haven't seen Miss Kitten listed anywhere yet....but David Guetta with his ringtones and loreal adverts is not my bag, also watched FBS at the weekend at glasto and thought he was pretty cheesy....throw GA into the bag, and thats a pretty shcocking terrace lineup (for me)

each to their own, but for me personally i think i'll be giving it a miss..

which is a shame as I love that place! :cry:

Maybe I'm getting my weeks mixed up but Miss Kitten is either playing that week or the next. I can give or take Guetta but Fatboy played one of my best ever terrace sets plus it's Nastydirtysexmusic on the terrace that week which is all good imo :D
 
Robo - can u be specific in what went wrong in Groove Armada's set, and how exactly did the croud react to thier set?

Fusion - Groove Armada played the same set they've been playing for the last 5 years. There were a few exploding moments but the set didn't really go anywhere plus that bloody awful MC insisted on MCing thru-out the whole set. When they brought out the GA 'anthems' like Afro Medusa, Together etc the crowd went off but it wasn't going off consistently as there were quite a few flat moments.

Liam - GA played 9-12 on terrace at Opening, there was interview on Space website a couple of weeks ago which said that was going to be their time for the first few weeks and they'd be closing the terrace every week and then they would review times when (or if :roll: :lol: ) the new all-night terrace opens.

Do you think we've all lost too many braincells @ Openings that we're having trouble communicating the simplest information :lol: ;)

Groove Armada played 9pm til midnight on terrace for WLS Opening and that is what they are going to be doing for first few weeks of their Space residency.

Got it ;)

I think GA are excellent but had an off day. Two of the people I was over with saw them at Pacha two days before and said they rocked the place. I wouldn't write them off for future weeks.
 
you have to be kidding me! they were awsome! got videos of it and theres no way they cud be crap if the people were bouncin so much! they rocked my world! dont miss em!

its blackstrobe in the discoteca i think

not sure about the rest, what sorta stuff do they play? may go and see them next week, they are playing oxegen festival on the saturday and theres nothing else on that i particularly want to see at that time 8)
