Keeping with the topic, I think someone should do an 80s goth remix album. Throw a couple well-known Cure and Siouxsie & the Banshees remixes in with some Fields of the Nephilim, Lords of the New Church and Mission UK... you've got one dark party album!![]()
And of course, a 20-minute remix of the Sisters of Mercy's "This Corrosion"![]()
puppylover said:I like Goths - they cause no trouble, they hang around in massive gangs in the summer in Newcastle all dressed in layers upon layers of black when its 70+ degrees - bless!!! They part like the Black Sea if you need to walk through them, they're quiet, they dont cause trouble like the Chav crowd and I would prefer to listen to their music blasting out than the crap "DJ Shouty B@stard" music that Chav's tend to play as they zoom past you in their chavved up Micra's.....
Marilyn Manson over DJ Sammy anyday!!!
Hmm.... good selections. Only Jane's Addiction and Violent Femmes don't fit... they're great bands but not gothic.puppylover said:Ah but you have forgotten to add..... All about Eve, Dannielle Daxx, Violent Femmes, Jane's Addiction, Bahaus, The Bolshoi and last but not least........ Killing Joke, Magazine and The Cult....

The Cult would have to be something early because they went through a hair-metal stage in the late 80s. Daxx's "Tomorrow Never Knows" is classic.
I forgot the Cranes... but I think they're best stuff was released in the 90s so that might disqualify them![]()

Yeah, i never did understand why people find chavs intimidating.
Most of them are built like stick insects under all that bagginess.

I saw Siouxsie 14 years ago, when I was a tender 17 yo! We arrived to the venue and saw that most guys were dresses ala Bela Lugossi, was quite funny, specially cos my friend had to wait for us for about one hour alone in the middle of the vamps![]()
