dickhead, what about steve mckenzies volley that made it 1.1???
Guys, I'm posting this again to remember you that this thread is meant to be a tribute to la Pulga and his performance last wednesdayhttp://www.d1g.com/video/show/899336
while Messi's, Maradonna or George Weahs goals need the player to be consistently brilliant for 10-15 seconds.
THAT is some good stuff. Love that tackle-dodging spin he did as he crossed midfield. A thing of beauty 8)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jo8PS4XSCyk
Great team effort!!!!![]()

Shame there's no commentary but you can make your own...
Technically speaking, this is my conclusion-of-years-of-consideration-thought-and-analysis, standard-response-when-questioned-at-job-interviews-or-dinner-parties response is this one:

Technically its much harder to score Messi's goal than Zidanes![]()
In Messi's case you need speed, agility, great touch, good close control, quick thinking etc etc.. When Zidane shot all you need is a decent left foot![]()
The 2 goals are technically not comparable as you can't compare Messi and zidane.
Scoring with the left foot when the ball is coming from the left side needs more than a decent foot. Give it a try![]()
I havent got a left foot, if its on my right on the other hand...![]()
I see what you mean but all im saying is that you see more goals like that one of Zidane in top flight football, than you do of Messi. Also the ball for Zidane's goal was dropping from a high position, (Roberto Carlos' cross was awful) so effectively it was simply a volley.
