I can confirm they have topshop in spain- Stephen used to run it!

Hair dilemma!

Need to get it cut for ibiza - but can't afford to get it done twice and I'm not going for a month and it needs cutting soonish. Should I leave it for another 3 weeks, or just get it cut twice, next week and just before I go?

Also - spray tan or sunbeds before I go? Do sprays get blotchy after a few days (girl at work has just had one done and it's gone blotchy round her neck now as it's 4 days later)

Also - Vests - in on men this season, as are formal shorts. Ridiculous or super? I think no man is going to look good in formal shorts :? - they just don't seem to come across as 'cool' more just 'geek'

Vests look good on men, formal shorts, no! Stay with the 3/4. Marharshi have gorgeous camo ones, boxfresh has the cheaper version :)

I think you can't go wrong with the Tanning Shop spray tans, they're so idiot, just go in, whip your clothes off, sprayed for 10 seconds, turn round get sprayed for another 10 seconds and that's your lot :D

Come on, don't pretend there's no science to it! There's the booties v no booties debate...the question of whether you put cream on the back of your hands and the tops of your feet...what to wear to and from your treatment...

So...what do I need to do? I don't want to come out with your wierd skin disease!

Yes....there is one near me....BUT....god knows who chooses the clothes for that store....they have the worst choice.....3 pairs of shoes to decide from....1 bag (if youre lucky) and a sale rack the size of the shop!8O

Tend not to go in there:? ....where as if I was in the UK....first stop....TOPSHOP!!!

I have many as usual.....

Wany my hair bright plummy colour - its dark brown at the min - I think they'd need to bleach it all over for the colour to come out - don't really want that but bored of my hair?

Still don't know what to do about Ibiza - do I go alone and risk being a loner for a week stuck in a hotel room?

Still like my ex boyfriend but he's ignoring me as I lied to him - do I just try and forget about it or has anyone got any ways that I can grovel and get him back?

The Maharishi 3/4s are lovely, I think Tom has got the camoflage, khaki, orange ones and he's just bought the bright blue ones.

  Yes but the finer details should be saved for e-mail conversation, we don't want everyone to know we spent the best part of 3 days discussing spray tans

Make sure you wear loose clothes. I recommend going braless.

Some tanning places give you plastic booties to put on your feet because otherwise the soles of your feet soak up the fake tan like mad and go orange. If they don't give you them, the first thing you should do when you get out is scrub the bottom of your feet. They give you barrier cream to put on places you don't want the fake tan to go eg palms, fingernails, hairline. I think Babs puts that on the tops of feet/back of hands (do you?). I was just told to blot my hands and feet with paper towel afterwards.

I think spray tans are great for holidays but quite intense if you just want a bit of a glow. Although some tanning shops will give you different levels of colour to choose from. The one I go to just has Footballer's Wife Orange.

Yes I will add to that the one in my Tanning Shop Scoobie has 3 levels so if you don't want to go full-on straight off you could try a 1 or a 2 :D

Yes I have one! 8O

Has anyone had those gel nail extensions? the ones that they put on the tips of your nails rather than putting a fake nail over your whole nail.

Are they any good?
How long do they last?
Can they put them on really short nails, or do your nails have to be a certain length?

:p

Scoobs I have had acrylics done a few times. I had them done when I had really short nails first. They glue tips onto your natural nails and put the acrylics over them. This cost me about £35. They looks really nice and your natural nail grows underneath the acrylic.
I've also had acrylic gels on my natural nails when they are at a decent length. It costs about £28.
They do look really nice and I'd say if it's for your big day then def get it done ;)

Downside: They file down your natural nail so much it makes them very week, basically like paper, so when and if you take your acrylics off they will break very easily.
If you intend to always have acrylics, you need to get them done about once every 3 weeks otherwise you will have a big gap between your acrylics and your natural nail growing through. It depends whether you have the money for infills every 3 weeks (about £16) and the time!

Personally I found them too much hard work to maintain. They look great for a couple of weeks then you get the growth and you've got to get them done again. I'm currently growing mine off at the moment and they look sh1t, but once they're gone I'll just grow my natural nails back.

I'd definately say get them for a wedding though because you can't have manky old bitten down nails in all your pics (not saying yours are but you know what I mean ;)) you want to have nails of a goddess!

It means your skin is primed for the treatment and it's less likely to go blotchy and flake off.

My spraytan lady recommended moisturising the night before, rather than the day of.

Oh god, I need to leave this thread!

Jesus that sounds like too much hard work!

 I know....but I cant convince myself that the pasty look is REALLY in...

Babs - I know youve mentioned before that you use San Tropez....is there much difference between a spray tan and using the above? I use S.Tropez but IMO, the more you use it - the less it works I find.
