Getting searched at the door?

I have a "friend" who is going to Ibiza and he was just wondering how stringent the searches are on the door for Amenisa, Space and Privilege, when it comes to Dr.Ugs?

Can go from no search to checking individual items in a hand bag/wallet. Common sense needed.

Haven't been searched this week anywhere myself, zoo maybe different today as they look for camera. Friends were patted down and made to throw something in a bin though at a club this week.

Tbh it's not the searches on the door you should be concerned about, but the random searches that the Guardia Civil conduct on the street, beach etc.

100% first time we visited, left space sat on the beach near bora bora, I know now an easy place for police to check and waited for inbed with space to start. One meaty police officer made three spainish looking lads strip to boxers, asked them to pull their boxer shorts forward-one must have objected and got clouted round the face with a baton...we exited stage left

From experiance searches do happen but don't tend to be as frequent or as aggressive as the UK

I find they tend to be looking for people sneaking in bottles of booze/water.

On other "items" I'm guessing it's more a case of if you have lots and looking like you're going to deal.

I've never been searched but people I'm with seem to. I must look really innocent haha

We should be fine between us Dirk - did you not say previously you take a small suitcase on wheels when clubbing and I normally have a pop up tent for a snooze when I get dead tired on the dance floor - so we could pack a few of them in there?
