Yeah, he can sound housey, though he's the state of trance these days, at least for mainstream trance. Literally -- his track Saving Light was the ASOT "tune of the year" last year.
TBH though, I can't knock the track-- the rhythm, vocals, and emotions provide that euphoric trance feeling, especially in a crowd of people who all know it (like at some of the big ASOT shows).
And the video for it has strong, sincere any-bullying message. I'd like to think that this represents the decent person he really is, while the CVNTS videos are just him having a laugh.
