Just a few tips....
The nudist beach is on the end of the island,
The sea is very clear and is shallow for miles,
Its full of rich people.... take food and water with you as the resturants on the beach are very pricey!! As is the sunbed hire, take a towel. Dont wear your best shoes as most boat trips drop you off near the beach but not on it and you have to walk 100m in the sea!!!!
It costs roughly 20-25 euros from san an. bay and is definately well worth a visit!!!!!

the boat doesn't drop you off in deep water does it??

I can't swim and I really want to go!!

:o wow i never met anyone who couldnt swim. why dont u learn??

I have tried!

But I think I have a fear of water more than anything else, can't go out of my depth, it's a bit freaky - not a big fan of falling under water either

Think I must have drowned in a past life or something!! :?

The only way you will actually get over it is to take lessons, one of the first things they will do is encourage you to feel better with your face under water. After a few lessons you will feel a lot more confident! Don't be embarrassed, more adults than you realise still cannot swim, its just that no-one talks about it! Please do this for yourself, it will make you feel so much better near the sea, and able to enjoy it more.

Possibly...I can swim a bit as long as I am within my depth, and you're right, a lot of it has to do with confidence...lack of!

I won't let it ruin my holiday though! :P :D

Fair enough!! I didnt see any nudists on the main beach!!!
I totally agree about the italians
You must have gone on a differnt boat to me!!

How true are Silvia and you about the Italians!! (some of them)  , at least about those ones that are near me (I don't want to generalize): There's a group of young Italians in my block in a rented flat. I don't know why they have to talk to each other so loud as if each one was 50 mts from the other, despite they're side by side and they're not in the mood for a laugh. Moreover they were celebrating a birthday yesterday, singing, laughing and behaving like loudmouths...at 2'30 early morning, Tuesday morning!!!! I couldn't sleep properly tonite. All the neighborhood is starting to get tired of them.

Strange is that we've also seen French guys who live in the same flat and we only hear Italian voices through the well of the building.

Anyone got any news of whats on this year at Club Xueno. We go to Ibiza on June 16th for a week and fancy something different. Day and Night trip to Formentera was one of my ideas. Afternoon / evening at Blue Bar then club afterwards?? What Day though?? Any thoughts, sugestions please.

Blue bar was one of the most beautiful places in either Ibiza or Formentera...

We found it by reading a guide book which described it as the "most beautiful place in the islands". So we took a boat trip over.. forgotton our guide book, so jumped a taxi and asked to take us there.. after a 15 minute drive.. and looking like we were being dumped in the middle of nowhere.. we came across it and all I can say is that the guidebook got it right.. :D

Spent a lovely few hours on the nudey beach playing jump the waves and drinking their cheap beer! Lovely. Will be back again next year!
great review!! :D

Why thank you. :D

Have a huge print of the photograph I took on our bedroom wall.. we wanted it to be the first thing we saw when we woke up..

We did say if we ever got marrried.. we'd do it there at sunset.. 8O

Do you reckon they'll do a wedding... :D :D

Last summer my friend got married in Formentera. They celebrated a very hippy and personal ceremony in Es Caló d'Es Mort and then we went to Atlas for a dinner and then we had a party on the caves. They don't have papers but it was the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen.

When you go to Formentera hire a bike and then you can cycle round and explore
the buses are not very regular and stick to the main roads
the ferry from Ibiza town stops of at the port in formentera you can hire bikes from a shop there
we didn't hire bikes when we were there and did not have enough time to see lots by using the bus. Although we found a nice quiet beach
