The L2 bus will take you to Formentera Platja (a huge hotel, No. 26 on the bus map) from there walk to the beach and then southwards until you get to Blue Bar (about 20' walk). Dunno where Piratabus is!
TBH wasn't all that keen on Blue Bar (went during the day tho') but there are lots of others spread down the coast. It's possible to walk the full length of the beach to the end (Mariland) and pick up the L2 from there to return. L2 isn't as regular as the L1 though.
Just got back from my day at Formentera.
Ferry from San Antonio takes 2 hours. 35 euros
Departs 1030, returns 1700
Was still plenty of time for a day on the beach but would have been nice to see the rest of the island.
I'd recommend hiring a push bike to get to the beach for 7 euros.

with beautiful boat party not landing at formentera i may plan a visit in a few days
don't know if the prices has changed?
i remember doing the 2 first beaches illetes & ...
any other beaches to recommand ?as by bus u cant plan more than 2 beaches & no way to rent a bike especially with a drum on my shoulder

Es calo , Cala Saona and my favourite Playa Mighorn all worth a vist. Mighorn has some great beach bar/huts along it.

@FallenangelGparsons I was only able to visit the beach before Illetes, Illetes itself and Llevant. Honestly thought Llevant was way better than Illetes. It's so long, with almost white sand and aqua blue water. It reminded me a little of Varadero Beach in Cuba and that's a great thing. Llevant is the closest beach I've found in Ibiza/Formentera that gave me that Caribbean feel. There weren't many ppl there either so you feel so free. It was due to the Illetes hype and also because the waves were strong, but I really liked that because you can just ride along with the waves with your body. Illetes had zero waves but who cares...i know ppl wanna chill but Llevant gave me that breathtaking Carribean feel way more. It was like way nicer version of Playa Den Bossa as the sand was cleaner and water way more aqua blue.

Will think about it with best Ibz mate as Formentera is one option with 2 beaches on a day without big daytime event in ibz....Ibz is 5-10options as havin a car ...
