So that will include you then flying to Gatwick??
Yes, but I checked the easy-jet email and the checkin closes at 16.35 so it means I have one hour and a half to arrive to the airport which means you won't get rid of me

It's the liquids/toiletries that will be the problem - they're banned on all flights at the mo so even if you squeezed your stuff into a tiny little bag for hand luggage you wouldn't be able to take any toiletries and you might be a bit sweaty/smelly after a few days![]()

I flew BA to Stuttgart last weekend. We checked in our luggage at Heathrow but would have normally taken it as hand luggage. We werent too worried though as luggage comes through pretty quick at Stuttgart.
There were no liquids or other things (like lighters, makeup etc) allowed through security at heathrow.
However, when we got to Stuttgart to check in with BA on the way back, the German woman checking us in was very proud to announce that there were no restrictions on any luggage from Stuttgart to anywhere in the world and we were allowed bring our bags on as hand luggage and have whatever we wanted in them (liquids, scissors etc).

Is it free alcohol on all BA flights?
So the moral of the story is if you're a terrorist don't fly from England but you'll be ok elsewhere in Europe![]()

Can't you postpose your big travel?
The previous week is Pep's birthday
Yeah it was free alcohol on BA flights but Im pretty sure they wont be handing out a couple of bottles of rose if you ask for it!!
Another point to note is that the liquid/lighter etc ban is only for going through security. You can buy whatever you want in duty free and bring it on board, unless you are flying to the USA where there is a total ban on all the restricted items. Your not even allowed bring water onto flights to the USA. Airlines like American Airlines and others who charge for drink are making a fortune.
Re: time at check-in. We checked in online beforehand and got there about and hour and a half before departure and it was all really quick for the bag drop. Normal checkin looked busier and I would say for destinations like Ibiza you should give yourself plenty of time. Also getting through security took a long time and it was a real quiet part of the day. I would hate to see it in the evening.......so give yourself plenty of time.
Cant you take him to London for his birthday![]()
