People already think we are relegated after 7 games. I promise you we will finish top half by the end of the season.
Without doubt we're better than the position we're in, it's just a matter of us getting our act together and playing as well as we can, which we havn't been doing. I don't think Australia are playing this week, so Tim Cahill can finally get a bit of a rest and hopefully start playing like he did last season.kingfisher said:On the day Man City didn't look any better than us... and there currently eighth![]()

Chuckle brother Gary can get all the injuries in the world, once our Phil is ok!jjinit said:Wayno said:Without doubt we're better than the position we're in, it's just a matter of us getting our act together and playing as well as we can, which we havn't been doing. ahem....we're 6th!!
also dont get delusional, I remember that we were "better than the position we're in" and were "too good to go down" back in 98/99 when we free fell into the then div 2!!! we also pinned all our hopes on one player too, Gio Kinkladze...and look where that got us??![]()
Cahill was your best player on Sunday and yes, it wasnt a vintage performance from us but thats the difference between a good team and a poor team....good teams play badly and still win.
The reason we are 6th and not bottom is because we have won more games, so saying theres no difference is a bit wide of the mark, anyway, saying that I hope you turn things around, ideally with Chuckle brother gary picking up a nasty injury on the way![]()

thought we (everton) looked ok first half until the ball went up to the strikers! the control of bent and mcfadden was awful!! wayno is right - there was nothing in it until the mills thunderbolt!
hopefully we'll get something going - though with spurs and chelsea as our next two games in the league its not looking too clever!
best/funniest part of the game - sitting right next to Curly Watts (ex of Coronation St)! for someone who must have a few quid he looked awful! wearing possibly the worst tie in the world ever!!

Curly Watts is a City fan (sadly) so were you sat in the Executive bit then? I was just beneath the main scoreboard. And yes, I did have the joys of driving back up to Glasgow afterwards to contend with.![]()
