Hmm... Great draw for England.... and Russia might actually have a decent chance of coming in 2nd in that group.

Scotland's looking at a 4th place finish. The Dutch should probably start booking their tickets now.

Where'd the last tournament's surprise team Latvia go? Are they the 7th team in group D?

Sorry, missed them out, theyre in the group with the Welsh, Irish and Czechs (sp?)

Morbyd, it was a one off ;) . My only worry is that if we get through the quarter final, we've got Real Madrid next, and that game is the week before the Chelsea game, so we wont be resting anyone :(
 
It's a bit of a disappointing draw IMO. Virtually all groups have two clear favourites right from the outset. England will be laughing with theirs :evil: Norn Iron get Spain and Iceland again, it would be nice to have somebody new come to visit but we seem to get Spain at least 50% of the time. We haven't a chance of qualifying, of course, but we can do things in that group. Scotland, Republic and Wales can all start booking their holidays for June 2008 too.

I know Cameroon is in the quarters, grego. I'm hoping they make the finals and that Eto'o really exausts himself :lol:

Though I suppose he could have enough time to recover... unless Barca reach the quarters and have to play against Real, in which case he could be really really tired by the time they play Chelsea :twisted:

No, but I think Barca are a weaker without him. Then we just assign Makalele to tackle Ronaldinho very very hard and everything should be ok :lol:
