Not sure of too many people will be interested in this.. I will :twisted:

Spain could get England.. that'll be 6 points in the bag ;) The scots, the welsh and the irish could all be drawn too.

ps: To anyone who saw the Barcelona game yesterday.. that was our "off" day of the year. We wont play that badly again all season, so dont get your hopes up Chelsea fans

qualifiers bore me..........i like the real deal at tournaments.

ferd, its a cliché because its true. i actually think the first 11 is stronger now than it has been for a few years (but then again i've been thinkin that for years as well - i'm thinkin guardiola, sergi, nadal, guerrero, etc)

your best players are those that can do it for the big games like vicente, joaquin, luis garcía cos players like valeron, raul, fernando torres are prone to going missing in some games. (translates as spain always bottle it):lol:

Ever since we got back from Barcelona Tom has been telling everyone and anyone that Barcelona have got no chance against Chelsea :lol: :lol: ;)
 
Oh and ps Ferd, I am interested in the draw if you could be so kind to post them when they've been drawn :lol: ;) At least by 2008 we'll have a decent manager :roll:

Top two in each group go through, you need to avoid the group with 8 teams in it.
You would have to think that with top two going through England will fancy their chances whoever they get.....unless it is the following:

England
Italy
Serbia and Montenegro
Republic of Ireland
Wales
Northern Ireland
Kazakhstan

I think you know your stuff Grego.. ;) I agree with everything youve said. Theres a few things that make me think it may be our year. (by saying our year, i mean we might get to the semis)

Raul and Xavi will be fully rested as they wouldve missed half the season through injury.

Xavi + Puyol are in the form of their life.

We FINALLY have a striker who is on top form.. VILLA. Who?? hehe.. he's been on amazing form for Valencia and will probably take Torres' place in our team.

Plus even Guti from Real Madrid is playing very well. In my view he's been the best Real Madrid player this year.


BBS.. nice to see Chelsea doing so well financially :p How much did you lose last year?? ;)

All part of the five year plan, Ferd 8) Luckily, the only losses RA is worried about are on the pitch and we didn't do much of that last season :lol:
 
Tough enough group for Spain although they should qualify out of that.
England should qualify out of that Group although away games to Russia and Croatia will be tough.
Even though its a tough enough draw Im happy enough with Irelands draw....some nice trips to Prague and Germany.
