I found a different cave on my recent visit to see Es Vedra, on the Summer Solstice (perfect place to be!).

Ive included a pic of it, and the view from it.

We also went to Atlantis this holiday, it was stunning!

Are there any tours that go from San An or Den Bossa upto Es Vedra?

Yeah there's boat trips to Es Vedra from San An. Cost me 18 euros last year during the day. It's a little more expensive to go on one around sunset time but I think that would be the better option!

I dare say there will be trips sailing from Ibiza town too!

Ibiza-Spotlight reports that the only way to get to Cala d'hort is by car or taxi from much of the island. I've read however, in several travel guides, as well as other websites that it can be reached by bus---taking #42 from Playa den Bossa, and then walking about 800 m from the nearest stop..is there any truth to this, or will I have to hire a taxi in order to get to this place?

I'd like to ask the same question. Staying in Playa d'en bossa and wondered if it's possible to see/get to Es Vedra as I'm not planning on hiring a car when I'm there. PS I hate boats so i don't want to go on boat trip either!
