Es Vedra

Bah No!

:spank::evil:

We drove down to Cala D'Hort for a few quick pictures from the roundabout then back up the hill. We took the road to the right where the bottle bank is and followed the road round till we came to a parking clearing and a private road.

Am I right in thinking that this is the way to Atlantis? Looked very similar to what folks had said, in terms of steep path down. I know you like to keep it a secret so just Pm me McRackin!

Instead of going down, we hiked up the hill to the right, until we could go no further. So I got a nice view of Es Vedra from here, but it wasn't a clear view, obscured by the summit of this hill. Being typical thick idiots we never brought water with us, and this was on Tuesday which was an absolute scorcher.

Glad I went looking though. Found Cala Moli which is a beautiful little beach. I plan on going back looking in September, maybe for some sunset pictures. And I won't lose my phone this time

) has come to my aid (i think)

judging from the way i looked at it... am i right in thinking i went left instead of right at ze junction?!?

hired a car for a week, brought all my maps, your instructions etc. in a poly bag all set to go exploring, only, after arriving, the next time we saw our car was leaving for the airport! wouldn't have been responsible to go driving around ibiza the nick i was in that week. annoyed i missed out, but theres always next year :)

Love those lizard picture and shots of Es Vedra. Went up there to the watch tower in 2005 in the blazing afternoon sun with plenty of water.

It was amazing and the strange thign was that the lizards up there were so tame unlike the ones in the busier areas that run off. They were climbing up onto me and also drinking water I put down for them! Guessing many wouldnt like them on their person, but being a reptile fan it was cool :-)

Was one of those days I didnt take a camera, but that kinda makes it more special with it being just a memory...

i love how you can see the rays of light coming through the break in the clouds to the right.

es vedra and thunderstorms go great together.8)

what a stunning place.

did not use the car really all week until we spent saturday just gone (last day) driving through the national park to cala d'hort & then spent the afternoon at the beach.

So so so so so happy i did so. it was the highlight of my hol (well that and Pacha...)

Great value sea food restaraunt there. I know it is easy to slate ibiza sometimes for the money that gets extracted, but for a view like that & for such (imo) good quality paella & other seafood - about 20-25 euros for 2 courses & a couple of beers is brilliant.

would recommend hiring a car for a day just to see the area around it whatever your reason for being in ibiza.

My hire car was broken into while parked near the walk to the watch tower. :o(

They smashed a window and took the beach bag out of the boot, which unusually had my wallet and credit cards in.

It was a shame for that to happen at such a beautiful spot and tarnish my memories.

absolutely magic again :)
spent the day there on tuesday, very spiritual and quite mind blowing! walked up the back of the hill to the right from atlantis, amongst the undergrowth & rocks on route to the tower, awesome experience was had
magic powers holds it does:D
