On a slight tangent, this illegal rave in Iran (!) looks mental
Interesting that aside from the fella with an actual proper camera, there's not a sea of mobile phones in the air...On a slight tangent, this illegal rave in Iran (!) looks mental
Absolutely disgraceful comment in my view. We should all have a bit of respect.it's obvious why YOU say this =》
MOHA(MMED)
This is a good comment fatphilb. There are mis-conceptions about the lifestlye here. I think you are confusing migrant workers here compared with Qatar. Here, they are very well treated (to honest that is not the same as say 10 years ago). I have been at labour camps here and the facilities are actually superb and offer an opportunity and cash that these guys would not get at home. I can understand why it may not be your kinda place but i have to say, i love it. It keeps me on the straight and narrow (I have a blow out in Ibiza once a year, every year). I agree that all comments should be left.Thing is, my problem with Dubai is pretty much to do with the migrant worker situation and the impression I get of its nightlife being this shitey vacuous fakevip glitzy r-and-bee 'tonight we drink from the bottle' kinda wank. Have no interest in ever going there, but can usually muster up some false enthusiasm if a colleague or friend says they're going there for holiday etc. My cousin lives in Oman and seems to be there fairly regularly and loves it but I'm just not convinced its my kinda place at all.
Yet Icey's problem with the place seems to stem from it being an Islamic country. Notice some of the earlier comments have now been edited by mods. Should have just left them as they are and let people make up their own minds.
- we don't like it when people view such comments out of context, which happens with today's search engines. if someone reads the entire thread then that's ok, but i don't want to take the risk. moha, hope you didn't take offence. as you can see from the rest of the replies icebaer is in a very small minority of oneShould have just left them as they are and let people make up their own minds.
