Donald Trump

Biden is no Corbyn. You have either extreme right or centre in the US. Biden would probably still be a tory in the UK.

Indeed.

Main difference is Biden is actually getting votes.

Corbyn got his arse handed to him in a spectacular way.

Was no point whatsoever in having a recount on that one ?

Not really. Corbyn could have been PM (the best PM we never had, in fact ?) had he not been stabbed in the back by the right-wing of his own party and had so much silly crap said about him in the media.

Still have a stiffy for Corbyn here. ?❤

Ok I won’t bash your messiah much then.

But yes, really ?

I mean how bad do you have to be, to lose to Boris Johnson ?‍♂️

Funniest bit was he actually believed he was going to win.

Currently suspended. Best thing Labour have done for years ?

Trumps the only REAL President them muppets have ever had. His mickey mouse replacement will be a lot worse....but he'll say the right things and it will all be smiles on the media while things get more f***ed up!

The West might have half a chance of bouncing back - seeing as he's undermined just about every International security and trade alliance in place before he took office, and delivered Putin and China exactly what they needed to rise up economically and politically.

The Corbyn experiment failed. It was a disaster for UK politics. We ended up with Boris as PM! Labour might lose some fringe left support now, but they're probably going to sweep up a lot more centrists to more than compensate.
Ultimately, although it pains me to say it, the fact is that the UK is largely ever so right of centre. You can't win an election without some kind of compromise

We don't need another neo-liberal, Tony Blair style Labour party. People on the left probably dislike Blair more than they do most Tory PMs, and people on the right will just vote Tory regardless.

Trust me, I'd prefer it if it wasn't the case, but Corbyn didn't even get close. Blair's version is the only Labour government that had a sniff in the last 40 years. It shows that ideology is popular in the UK, whether we like it or not. So while Starmer might not the best fit for me personally, I think he's the best thing any moderate left-leaning person could hope for

I'd love to be able to pitch for the Greens as well, but for the same reason, they are living in fantasy land if they think they aren't going to alienate 80% of the electorate by insisting we can switch to zero carbon emissions overnight
