Just a question I thought I'd put forward on a Tuesday morning! And knowing there are many different ages on the board, though we might get an interesting discussion going.
The reason I ask is because:
Last night I dropped my 16 year old brother off at a school Halloween party. He jumped out of the car (as if I was far too uncool and past it to be seen with him lol
) and went to join his gang of mates. I was talking to my mum about it afterwards, and was saying I could not believe I was now almost 23, it seems like only yesterday I was 16 and going to my friends' parties etc.
My mum (who is in her fifties) was saying how she can't believe her age now, apparantly her thirties and forties went by in the blink of an eye, she said she hates the fact that she's getting older, and there's nothing to look forward to at her age.
For me personally, the thought of nearing my mid-twenties is terrifying! I know to some people it's still very young, but to me, it's scary how fast life is passing me by, I still feel like I'm 18 inside, then I realise that was nearly five years ago!
Scary
