Do you remember your Ibiza firsts??

Blimey now I will show my age....can't remember all the details but my first trip to Ibiza was in 1989 when I was 18...first club was the Star Club (now Eden) which we left because the music was terrible (they were playing U2 "With or Without You"!!) we nipped over next door to Es Paradis (which at that time was open air) which was fantastic and totally changed my life.....
...it was a Rome themed evening and they had a huge fat guy dressed as Emperor Nero surrounded by slaves and roman centurians..all sitting round the circular dance floor....
..music was fantastic Strings of Life, Black Box, Everything Starts with an E...not many english people in the club although it was very full. You could tell the english because they were nearly all wearing dungarees and either wallabee or kicker shoes....arghh!
Still, been back to Ibiza lots of times since and like the earlier post for me it gets be=tter every year...roll on June!!

My first time in Ibiza was in 1995 (oh my) Ibiza converted me to clubbing. When I first went there I had never been to a house club. My first club was Es Paradis and it blew me away.
The second time there was much better, as I was a fully flegded clubber!

First meal - Hotel
First dinner - David's Pizzeria
First sunset - Running down to Mambo hehehe (just made it)
First bar - Cafe Mambo
First DJ - Roger Sanchez at Mambo
First club - Manumission
First drink - Ordered a water with "gas" not knowing that meant carbonated water hahahaha
First alcoholic drink - San Miguel at the hotel (had 4 cases in the fridge when i arrived, thanks brother)

Haha truth be told, neither did we. We all get something other than pizza. I do not know Ibiza that well at all, especially to give directions. My first and only time there so far, I was just in awe and didn't really pay attention to where everything was. I just ended up at certain places constantly (Coastline, Mambo) hehehe. I'm sure some of the gurus can help ya better... ie. Mackie throwing up 80 pics of where it is.
There was a pizza / pasta place just down the street from Bora Bora ......I remeber eating there last year watching people "cruize" by in their cars trying to be cool.....which reminds me.. Did anyone notice the number of Audi s3 cars on the Island???
......there seemed to be loads of them (for anyone not a petrol head an s3 is like an Audi A3 on red bull 
& steroids)( I'm not going to explain what an A3 is)My mate has a chiped one, but appart from his you would rarely see one in Ireland. ( It's definatley an island of subaru's & Evo's )

The first time I went to Ibiza was only in 2002. I'd always assumed that it wasn't the place for me and would be full of larger-lout Brits, in pools of their own vomit and the music would be chart nonsense and not a hint of techno.
How wrong I was!
I was eventually pursuaded to go by a good friend of mine whose opinion I very much value and who has a similar taste in music and clubs as me who said I'd absolutely love it. So, managing to convince my partner to give it a go whilst we were still young we decided to take the plunge and haven't looked back since.
We went for the second and third weeks in September and stayed in the Squash Apartments in Playa D'en Bossa, a pretty good base (thanks to the people on here for helping me out nearly two years ago!)
Our first night we went down to Bora Bora and then saw what it was really all about. Dancing on tables with people from all over the world, whilst the planes went overhead. The big tune of the night (and the holiday) was 'Love Story' by Layo and Bushwacka! which still reminds me of that holiday even today.
The first proper meal we had was in Sa Torreta in Alt Villa of Ibiza Town which I'm sure people will know is still my favourite restaurant on the island. In fact, it was so good, we went back later on in the holiday for one of our last meals. I can't remember exactly what I had, but it involved plenty of seafood and wine!
The first club I went to was Pacha for Subliminal with Erick Morillo and Seb Fountaine on 11th September for a mate's birthday. It's not really my taste in music but I still had a great night, although Pacha is not a club I'm fond of. The following day we went to see Carl Cox at Space who was outstanding and still to this day that's one of my all-time clubbing highlights.

All over the UK and Ibiza

1st drink - a hot "lamumba" (chocolate & brandy)in my hotel when we arrived about 4am!
1st sex - about 1 hour later when we had killed the huge bug sitting on our ceiling.
Oh my - the memories come flooding back!
I have been about 50 times since, including 8 visits last year cos I now have an apartment in PdB.
