Do you remember your Ibiza firsts??

Hey all,

A bit of a weird post here, but I'm just curious how many of you remember your Ibiza firsts? As I read many of the threads on this board, I get taken back to my first (and only, so far) time to the island. But I remember everything about it. Where my first meal was, what I had, first club, first DJ I saw, first drink I had, where I watched my first sunset, first ppl I met, etc etc etc. Now I don't expect a lot of the ppl who've been there more than 5 times to remember, but still... just curious who does remember those memorable firsts??

Ahhh Ibiza... 104 days to go.

It was 6 years ago, I was 18, inspired to go by Ibiza Uncovered, but I only got drunk twice, went to every club there was, though we did get dragged onto the 18-30 things, never again!
My favourite nights were at Pacha, Renaissance and another one? Space was great too but too tiring for little me! And I got into trance.
Spent a lot of time near Cafe Mambo.
First drink was probably in our (poor) hotel, first meal somewhere cheap in San Antonio, first club was Es Paradis I think, I was only 18 though!
I remember turning down a free ticket to Amnesia to see Paul Van Dyk on a Saturday night, as I thought it would be rubbish...was I mad?

your firsts

i arrived on a sunday...walked straight into the space terrace and i nearly had a seizure on the spot,danced my ass off to danny rampling and even got talkin to him for a bit.....ill never forget the atmosphere in tht place,oh and the gay guy who kept tryin it on little me haha.brilliant!
 
My first visit was also in 2000. Arrived Sunday morning as well and went straight to Space! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! Too bad I got some stuff stolen from me the first day as well :evil: :evil:

Still danced my ass off... actually I belive that my boyfriend also managed to convince the dj to let him into the booth where he proceeded to "freestyle"! :lol: :lol: I think I was too 8O to even realize it was him in the dj booth though!!

Aaaaah first trip to the white isle Sept 2001.
Stayed in San An Bay-never again! Welsh kids next door tripping off their birdbrained heads next door, being abusive :x , trashing room :evil: & kicking our door & windows :twisted: (we were 3 girls shit scared in the room :cry: )-so reported them to rep & they had to spend last night out on street & foot bill for damage. :lol:
First night lost my mates in West End, I got taxi back to base-was safe :!:

It wasn't a good year, as the Twin Towers were blown up. Every one was in shock...

We did enjoy the gorgeous sunset, experienced Cream @Amnesia, Euphoria @ Eden, getting sun burnt 8) etc...memories got the photo's to recall ... still go back for more each year ;)

First time was 1996, considering I can't remember what I did last wkend most of the time I've got no-hope in remembering what I did in Ibiza 8 years ago 8O :lol:
 
frist time i went the cds i took out with me were MoS Ayia Napa :oops: , Eminem, Dr Dre, Jay Z.

I came back with Subliminal Sessions 3 and didnt take it out of my cd player for about 6 months

Thank you sooo much Ibiza :D 8) :D

first meal:don't remember eating all week

I surely remember my first time in paradise back in 2001.
It was so magical...

However, the saying 'first is always the best' doesn't stick in my case, since i've had better times in Ibiza when i got back to it a year later, then a year later, etc.
Or in other words - it just got better for me everytime i made a return to the island.
 
The first time i was there was only two years ago.

Still has a place in the old heart.

Going back for more 6th Aug - 20th Aug. :D

beach - that one i cant remember name of that you get ferry to from san an harbour....?
boat - mates girlfriends bit on the side who had one ;) :lol:
robbed - 2002 :(
space - 1998
manu - 1998 i think

lol, anyone suggest more categories?
 
memories

got off plane at midnight......hired car & threw bags in back............


first club... 45 mins later ... Eden... DJ Oliver

first sunrise ( 6 Hrs later) San An Beach...me 3 mates DJ Oliver and 3 underwear models! (well.. thats all they were wearing)

first (and last ) dip in sea 10mins later (messed with my head that the water was so warm!)

first club to be kicked out of : space that night (don't ask)

first club to absolutely fall in love with : Manumission at privelege (sp?) next night


first flight home: bleary eyed,..longest weekend of my life...endurance event.... take me back soon!!! :P
 
I lost my virginity aged 13 in a hotel near Portinax to a girl aged 19 (she thought i was 17!)...that was 17 years ago.

The twice yearly ibiza holidays since i was 16 (parents free) all blur into one. But its a good one!
